Confused the l and j buttons, resulting in me launching missiles at the ship I was to follow rather than activating SETA. The escorts of that ship then rapidly took revenge.

I saw a dot on the mini-map and thanks to my desire to complete the entire map I hopped off a bridge knowing that there was an enemy centaur below. What I didn't know was that there were 4 others with it hiding in a cave and that the one I saw was their leader. The leader then chased me down and one-shotted me as I ran away in terror.

Slowly bringing my Galaxy in for a near perfect landing, when I accidentially jam my foot into a sharp thing and flinch, throwing my mouse off the desk. The galaxy flipped upside down, and exploded. With my 11 passangers.

I lost everything but my innermost layer of facilities, so food, food refining, and some other stuff. I lost all wood supplies, most of my farms, my entire milatary training, as well as all but one member of the military, and my water source.
It was pretty bad.

A necromancer whose tower I hadn't seen on the map suddenly brought out a force of the undead numbering towards a hundred. I sent my military out to the entrance to at least allow the civilians to raise some drawbridges, but the zombies got through to the very last defense layer before I expected them to. The only reason anything survived was because of a hastily thrown up wall. Food is low, morale is low, and the entire fortress is now working towards a last-ditch retaliation by effectively destroying the surface.

Reminds me of the time I accidentally pressed the wheel button too early and I ejected from the full Osprey I was piloting in Arma 2 instead of putting the landing gear down. The friend I was playing with was automatically put in my place, but it was too late for him to be able to do anything. It crashed and exploded, and since the game accused him of teamkilling everyone aboard, he got all the flak for it.
