Left the atmosphere of sapphire after flying around enjoying the view.  Decided I would go to new hope next.  So I set a waypoint turned on autopilot and went into the news console to see what was selling good.

Turns out that the autopilot thought it was a very good idea to do a 180 and try to jump through sapphire.  Burned up in the atmosphere from overspeed.

Deliver some platinum to a battleship?  Sure, I've done delivery missions plenty of times, always safe.  And it's the only contract here that doesn't expect enemy resistance.

Oh, thats 2 hostile pings.  Ok I got this, I can take 2 fighters, and theres an ally battleship I was delivering to nearby, no way I can lose.

And now there's 8 of them... and the useless battleship doesn't appear to be firing, this is not worth 20,000 credits...

Ever since I learned the "close window upon death" trick, I haven't died much lately.  It works in lots of mediums, especially rogues and roguelikes.  I should feel bad, but not-dying is just too much fun!

Was in the generator room hunting infiltrators when I blew myself up with a spinfusor when I freaked out and thought my teammate was an enemy.

As the battle raged on, USS Enterprise had a impulse failure from an attempted quick turn and began flipping around for a while.

After they stabilized, I came face-to-face with their torpedo launchers... my front shield was already down.

Has anyone being making a tally/list of these? Because I kind of want to know how many of these have been amassed.
Really the aim is to get to somewhere near 1000 different deaths. Because.

My entire prostitution ring got caught by police and one of them ratted out my second of command. She had so many criminal charges against her that she was locked up for so long that she broke and revealed all of the details of the entire organisation, and I got killed in the ensuing policy type raid. Despite being in a squad with the best fighters. MFW.

Decided to try out my new 100% weakness to magic+fire+100 fire damage for 2 seconds in 15 feet on a group of lich's and their freshly summoned skeletons when "OH GOD WHY IS MY HEALTH DRAINING SO FA-" dead. Freaking lichs and their reflect spell damage spells. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion.
