If I remember correct, he attacks any fleet that he thinks is too big. So, he should leave your gates alone if you move your ships somewhere else, unless it's bugged somehow.

The death before that one was because the guy on my team before me didn't realize that battlecruisers are worthless in Desert Strike.

Crushing the TEC Loyalists in my two front war, I am informed that my opponent has just completed a Titan class warship. Knwoing I have to move quickly, I assemble my entire armada on the planet near the Loyalists last planet, hoping to wipe them out quickly, before the Rebels can move in with their Titan on me and start ruining my backfield. Upon warping my aramada in, complete with a Super Star Destroyer Titan, I discover I've made a grave miscalculation. It seems the loyalists are infact the ones who built a titan, which shredded my fleet to bits, causing my empire to collapse.

This is not the death of me, but the death of a friend. He was playing as GLORIOUS RUSSIA. He crushed Gandhi, after I gave him a warning on how deadly he is. And then, he was stuck in a total war. Every country was against him. He managed to crush all countries but America, which hadn't even invented the steam engine. Just as he was about to take over some of the last US cities, mushroom clouds appear. Turns out he accidently left one of Gandhi's cities alive without realising so.

Civilization 4, I believe.

My Industrialcraft house was running along nicely, slowly crafting Iridium.  I had a small but efficient nuclear reactor, mainly for research purposes (SO FUN!).  Yeah, you guessed it, I died in a reactor explosion - but not the way you think.  I made the mistake of trying out Equivalent Exchange.  I didn't use energy collectors, just transmutation and the awesome chests!  I stored all my cool Industrialcraft stuff in an alchemy bag for easy access.

Then Minecraft crashed... and when I loaded, my bag and my alchemy chest were empty.  I cheated my diamonds back, and could have rolled back to a backup save an hour before, but instead I disabled my reactor cooling and laughed, and laughed.  Hehehehehe.

Minecraft, the Technic (http://technicpack.wikia.com/wiki/Mod_list) mod pack.  Improves Minecraft beyond words... and you can disable whatever mods you don't want.  Like EE.

Oddly enough they don't have to be; they can be surprisingly mean when massed.

They do nonetheless require your opponents not countering properly to function and they're weaker early on, however.

Jup, since an incident* in Civ II, Ghandi's AI is hardwired to focus on mass producing nuclear weaponry.
