Looks like i lost hope a bit too soon, the NPC that you spawn with has beaten up the spitter zombie :D

Huh A cave on tha map.  I'm in pretty good shape right now so I think I'll go over and take a look.  It's convieniently close to the river and a forest, maybe I'll even set up base there.

‼OH GOD THIS WAS A TERRIBLE IDEA! Who knew rats were tall enough to block a thrown molotov‼

Ok, both my legs are under 15 hp and I'm in extreme pain but I'm away from rat hell.  I'll just limp back home take a dozen asprin and first aid up and read for a few days.  Then I'll be back on my feet.

...why is there a horde of two dozen zombies including spitters and boomers in an empty field a good 10 map tiles from any vestiges of civilization?  Oh no, I can't outrun them! FUUUUUUU-!

i don't get it.
I min maxed my faction and tech - expanded insanely at the beginning to get the highest research, and the enemies are still bigger and have better tech. They then decide to all declare war on me and steamroll me into the ground.
it's as if they ally against me.

I failed on 3 points:

1. Night missions are bad
2. Friendly fire does exist, and is quite deadly. (To be fair, I did expect this, but not to take out several soldiers in one turn)
3. Your default soldiers can't hit the side of a barn, not even with a rocket launcher

My friend has this difficulty every time he tries to play certain games, especially newer ones. You may need to get the lens cleaned, or have your console refurbished.
