Probably had the worst starting position ever. A small plateau, surrounded by mountains with one exit. My starting warriors start behind a line of mountains, next to a barbarian city. Get killed very quickly. The plateau I'm on also has three barbarian cities. One of them covers the only exit from the plateau. Within ten turns of the beginning of the game Acheron makes that city his home. The city starts churning out warriors with enchanted blades like there's no tomorrow. I don't last long, especially when three Azers appear out of nowhere to attack my only city.

It is really hard being in a war, when you have no army.  I had about 20 men at the most, at one time, had to disband a few men to get enough speed to escape from 30-40 large Khergit armies. 

Not only that, but there's a weird amount of Khergit deserters ( is that because a khergit army was crushed? ) that I can't even fight off, despite only being slightly larger than me.

My Ice Pulse based Witch is very squishy.  You'd just never know it from the way she annihilates everything before it even gets close.  Running along a narrow ledge and getting swarmed by spiders climbing up around me though...well that's just not fair.

Took my Ocelot frigate into the front guns of a Pteranodon destroyer. 4GJ of shielding doesn't last very long against 12 guns of any type, and the mod I'm using makes the Gauss Cannons this one happened to be mounting into absolute monsters. 10km range (vs my 7.1) and 2.5km/s bullet speed (vs my 600m/s). I can't dodge, there's simply no time to maneuver the bulk of a frigate out of the way of those things. My Plasma Burst Projectors hit harder, but he's got 12 GCs to my 9 PBPs, along with 3x as much shielding as me.

I could take him if it weren't for the stupid bullet speed on GCs, my ship's thin enough to dodge any other anti-capital guns.

Gonna get whatever the ATF heavy frigate's called and come back for him. ATF ships are OP, and the rebalanced Point Singularity Projector is almost as good as the Photon Pulse Cannon.

Rolled a new character, moved a few tiles out of bed, and shamblers immediatly poured in through the windows and beat me to death. Decided to continue as my zombified self, walked outside, and as soon as I cleared the window, got shotgunned by survivors.

Killed myself trying to save a companion from an evil Valkyrie and got worn down by a small army of clones of myself and allies.  The tank died because the healer was getting bit and clawed by 3 of me, slowing his casting speed, the healer died because I couldn't seem to keep threat on that many targets, I couldn't kill the Valkire that was creating the clones because it was being constantly healed by 4 clones of our healer, and the clones of myself bit and scratched me to death while I was trying to thin the pack with area of effect damage and I used up my limited number of defensive cooldowns.

According to my log I was mangled to death by myself.
