Attacking a ruin, I have my squad spread out to account for the ridiculous blast radius of grenades.  Next thing you know, my perfectly spaced out and aligned squad covering everybody just so gets blown to bits by an enemy using a freaking rocket launcher that has a blast radius that is downright obnoxious! :(

Obviously red-tipped spikes. Everywhere. A single button mispress spells death.

Led a charge up a Soviet-controlled hill. Took a mortar position, then charged up to their main base. Shot several reds, then when my rifle was empty, stabbed no less than five of them to death with the bayonet. While stabbing them, I noticed a hole in the wall that let me enter their base relatively undetected. For a short while I was in ther base, keeling ther doods. Following that, I took out a crowd of enemies by the front entrance, letting the rest of my troops walk right in unopposed.

As we were capping the final objective(that base), one of the Soviets shoots his rifle through one of his comrades, killing him, and one-shotting me with the same bullet. Literally one second later, the objective was captured and my team won.

Had a final assault at the main base of my enemies but forgot that few Scarabs escaped previous fights and thus I was met with clutter of Frigates and Scarabs at a small resupply outpost of the Mantis. In the fury of the battle, Cpt.Blackwell got blown up and I failed the mission *sigh*
