Fought a drillbot, manned by a couple guys throwing around explosives and dropping rocks from the roof.
Jumped onto some spikes.

Still DF, same file. Not dingos. A single bolt to the foot crippled my adventurer and then I just got swarmed by bandits and killed.

I've also died that way, what, three times?  Probably four.  I was practically feeding kills to the bandit group.

Yeah, Skyrim guards would be fucked in DF.

Someone must've been throwing out a lot of bolts, ignoring his trusty crossbow.  :P

I died when drawing my bowstring, my inconspicuous pincushiony friend shambling up from six or so squares away.

Ironically, it used one of the arrows it pulled out and stabbed me with it.

To death!

Went off to slay a spouse of a night creature.
When I get there, I find that not only is the spouse there, but also the actual creature and one of their children. I am promptly killed.
