FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

This time I was doing pretty good with a combat knife. I got 40 zombie kills (32 of them at the same time by bottlenecking them in a doorway) and thought 'eh, that was probably all of them in the area, I'm in pain, I'll sleep it off.'

I wake up to a thunderstorm and the house is practically filled with zombies. There was barely enough space to weave through them and get outside... not that it mattered, since there were a lot outside as well. :'(

Cataclysm. It hates me so. :\

Dungeons of Dredmor, with Going Rogue and Permadeath on. Level three, I'm decked out in my awesome Embossed Serpentine Plate Mail (Level 5 in smithing). Three monsters left in a monster zoo (all casters, of course...) and I get killed because my stupid teleportation potions refused to take me anywhere worth going.

Skull caved in by horse hoof.

Should have read the wiki before attacking. I had thought a horse would be easy after killing two elks without taking a scratch. Le sigh.

On-topic: Got cocky trying to distract spiders while my Deadly Strike Towers sniped them for me. Got webbed. Died. Two spiders left, would have been easy win/loot if I weren't on hardcore. Remaining enemies glitched and refused to walk into tower range, and I couldn't respawn in combat phase. I had to restart the level with two enemies left.  >:(

It's actually less dying from fall damage or deathclaw strikes and more "falling beyond the invisible instakill boundary set around the bridge (because I cheated, yay).

It turns out that when a horde of Zombies attacks you repeatedly, you eventually take too much damage and die. WHO KNEW.

Cataclysm. Was my first character, thought it was fitting i died to Zombies.
