Some locals were complaining of Deathclaws, and I volunteered to deal with them. Silly me, I thought they were talking about a gang of thugs called themselves the Deathclaws, not... :-\... Deathclaws.

I just remember another one.
Covert ops kept finding my bases, including several warehouses just moments from having Mainframes brought online(expensive as hell...). So, to survive, I start renting data servers.

"Oh look, I open a node in Cork."
"*You're base in Cork is ready."
Almost instantly:
"*Covert ops have found your base in Cork. Automated security protocols have destroyed all evidence, blah blah blah"
Repeat until all bases dead.

So, apparently the second to last level of grappling hook + rope isn't enough to reach the last ledge I need in order to avoid falling into a pool of acid.
The good news is, acid tastes great, and that hook got what it deserved.
The bad news is, I no longer have skin. Or any kind of meat whatsoever.

Summoner sent out 3 creatures to attack me, suicidally charged in but by this time the dwarf warrior had come in and stunned me, leaving me easy prey to him and the summons.

My three companions and I were jumped by some Demons of Pain. We were completely outnumbered. I held out for a while with my steel glaive and shield, but eventually took the chieftain's iron cleaver through my left lung, collapsed, and bled to death. I was listening to dramatic music from the Bastion OST.
