I was on my 5th trip running troops to the front line when a tank round blasted through the cockpit of my huey. It was my teammate who shot me. Classic Battlefield action.

Was holding a hill (as a German) with a squad. I had a K98k, bayonet attached as usual.... and through the smoke, I hear a faint "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" cry coming closer. Then five US troops come running out of the smoke, bayonets attached, and rush all of us. I missed my single shot, got into a bayonet fight, and lost.

It was pretty awesome.

I finally made it to level three...
Then the poison from the kobold + lizard + snake + rat gang I killed killed me.

Turned into fine paste and smeared all over the savannah by a charging rhino. Turns out hunting rhinos with a sword is a singularly bad idea.

I hope those italics meant sarcasm. I played that and the controls were sloppy, and the balance messed up.

Hunting Rhino's with a sword sounds like a promising concept for the best game in the world though.

The loot Rhinos drop isn't even that great though.

And the game exaggerates their strength, I ran away from the first one I saw because it had a big skull beside it's name. Took the second one out with 5 shots.

You play ArmA 2? I just got that, good game. Online or offline?
Both, we should play together some time; I've got the OA expansion as well but can't get it to work (Steam support are on it).

Anyways, on topic: Assaulting a Chedaki held village on one of the default scenarios. We were doing incredibly well, one group of enemies was down and we'd only taken one casualty in the entire team which the medic was quickly sorting out. I knew that there was one AT soldier left around somewhere, but couldn't quite figure out where, he was pretty well hidden. Anyways, we'd stopped to regroup for a moment when suddenly one of my soldiers shouts out, "UNDER FIRE!" before the screen goes red and we're all killed by a single missile.

I wouldn't know about the controls, I played it with a gamepad and it was fine. Didn't really notice any balance problems either. It's strange that so many people seem to think TW2 is crap. The first one was, but the sequel really isn't bad at all.
