I don't think you can expect everyone to know about the announcment. It's ont he first page and on one other page a few pages back.

So basically anyone who knows this thread well will choose to select the last page first, then might not bother reading any more then that.

Anyone who knows this thread should have noticed the rule by now. My guess is people find the thread, read the title, and respond without ever reading the first post. Nothing wrong with that, most of the time.

Anyway, I was technically dead for a few seconds when two armored bandits with miniguns ambushed me. But then my built-in defibrillator pumped me full of epi and shocked me back to life, and stunned the bandits.

Not true. I don't bother looking at the first post which has been edited. If I didn't check the previous pages to read everything new, I wouldn't of seen the message.

Yeah I have been here before, and I figured it just hadn't changed.  The topic is pretty small, so the OP may as well add 'ADD THE GAME IT WAS IN FUCKER' to it.

Also, shredded by zombies in Cataclysm anybody?

Death by zombies is quite rare for me, actually. I generally end up getting killed by giant mosquitoes.

Okay, so running around in Spelunky, third area, down to a single hit. As a stroke of luck, I find an Altar to Kali. In an area where there are a ton of yetis running around for ample sacrifices, this is a good thing, since it's a means with which I could restore my health. I go and sacrifice a few yetis, when a small saucer comes into view. Since it's approaching me and the altar, I dread the possible outcome of it blasting the altar and Kali punishing me with a swarm of spiders, and I decide to try and deal with it. I grab a nearby pot and throw it at the UFO. The pot misses it, collides with a wall, where it spawns a spider, that promptly jumps on me and kills me.

Self-fulfilling prophecy anyone?

Managed to get the ship into orbit.  Me and my fellow crewmen managed to do a couple little experiments and turned on the rockets to head back home.

After about five seconds of thrust we ran out of gas.  Seems that they do not in fact always put extra in those fuel tanks.

After 6 days of endless orbiting (which seemed more like 20 from how fast we were going) my crewmates Bob and Bill finally had enough of my endless optimism and threw me out of the airlock.

Mood: Happy
