Not a death, but anyway. During a Defense Battle(where your home base is attacked by an presumably infinitely spawning wave of enemies until you kill the boss), I find an invisible Monster Generator(which spawns a usually set number of waves each time you kill off the previous group), and smash it to pieces. Now, when you kill a Monster Generator, usually all the monsters that it's spawned(and apparently have yet to spawn) instantly die. Turns out this particular Generator had so many left to spawn that when they all insta-died, the game locked up. And this a PS2 game.

That's right, I crashed a crashed a console game.

Whilst flying a Chinook into a remote location where a firefight was raging, a tank swinging from a chain beneath me, I spotted an anti-air missile flying towards me on the radar. With my little knowledge about helicopters I knew that I had no countermeasures and god-awful manoeuvrability. Screaming over the radio for the passengers to jump, I flew lower and slower and released the tank, trying to save it from damage.
However, by this time it was too late. I went down with my chopper.

Matter of opportunity. We effectively owned the main bridges (playing as ze Germans) on Operation Totalise I believe, and we had control of all points save for the one closest to the Canadians. The Canadian team decided to try rush the smaller bridges (which we weren't really covering) which ran parallel to the main one, so I set up camp on the train tracks and started sniping across. While I was busy sniping, the Canadians (in control of the trainyard/factory) apparently used the train like a battle bus and broke through our front lines. Rather than capturing the nearest point they decided to go straight across the bridge. I didn't hear because I was listening to some film OSTs, and because I'd been ignoring the minimap. Suddenly I hear a train horn over the sound, so I unscope, and turn around in time to see the train ram into me (and, thanks to Mumble, heard the laughter afterwards).

Hehe, that's what I was thinking! But it reminded me of a particularly hilarious death... Getting snuck up on by a tank in the first Bad Company. You'd just hear this low whirring noise, and then suddenly BAM.

Not really died, but failed epically:
Tried to make a water distilling plant using uranium and noble gas; used liquid oxygen to freeze the water. Opened the tap, and it electrified all the water.
