Canada always survives. Always. They then become the highest Quality of Life nation due to America always ending in shambling ruins after 5000 ICBMs are launched at your country. It's probably due to their pact with the USSR, don't tell anyone.

Anyway, my most recent death happened in Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup. I was playing as a Troll Beserker (Hahahaha!) and I had just killed Ijyb, one of the unique monsters. He is pretty weak, especially for a TrBe. I walked into a group of orcs, about 4 orcs and an orc wizard. The orcs themselves were easy prey, and only took about 5 turns to take down. I managed to also score some hits on the wizard himself, but he became invisible. I was left swinging unsuccessfully in all directions. He was hitting me hard, trolls are too big for most armor types and I only had a robe on. I went beserk for the health boost, and I still couldn't hit him. Right after that I hit him, he was standing right in front of me. Due to beserk leaving you exhuasted after using it, you can't go into it again until after about an eight turn or so cooldown. Of course, this brought me down to about 11/72 HP. I took one swing at him, then another, but I missed both and he hit me twice, bringing me down to 2 HP. It was now or never, and I took one last swing at him. I completely missed, and he impaled me on his spear.

Hey, Canada is awesome! It's like the USA, but it cares less (not always a good thing!). I live there!

And do I sense (through completely NORMAL, non-mutation-related means) someone who plays Paranoia? The Commie jokes and love of dystopias match what I read about it. Awesome game, but I would have no one to play with.

Aaargh, I lost my spriggan artificer in the swamp after clearing lair down to level 7 in crawl. Damn those swamp dragons.

Valkyria chronicles, on a late mission where you're flanked by two giant tanks.  I just took down one, on my way to kill the other...  When the cannon turret (that hadn't done anything all game) took a pot shot at my commander's tank and one shot it.  I swear it was sleeping before then, agh!

From what I've heard, it runs like a piece of shit in DOSbox so you need to run it in XP. I ran it in XP but it's not working.
