Oh dear god the Meat Circus. It is horrifying. Picture one of those old 'out run the lava' games where you have to keep going up before the lava hits you. Then add in haveing to use accrobatics and sometimes odd camara angles to get up levels. Then add haveing to keep some little brat and his bunny alive when monsters attack.

Oh, the escort section was hardly the worst part of that level - it was really more of a timed mission than anything. (Your escortee moves to the next platform and predictably comes under attack; you've got to navigate up to said platform before he's killed.) It was that obnoxious climb with the 'lava' that was challenging.  >:(

Except the lava is water and way more deadly. Makes sense in context.
Anyways.


Jumped into some spikes. Turned back time, got hit by a goomba-clone. Turn back time again, into the spikes again. And so on.
Dammit Tim, were it not for your time manipulation abilities you would be all kinds of dead by now.

All of the sudden, I decided to play various horror games while playing The Hustle in the background. Silly disco music makes me invincible!



Except to long drops. And airlocks. Dead Space 2 airlocks know just how to get you.
