I and three companions are trudging through the swamp, brutalizing everything that comes our way. What's this? A clear path up the side of this hill? Let's go up and take a look around.

What do I see when I crest the hill? Why, a tank, of course! Here I am standing at the top of a hill, armed with an empty SMG and an electric guitar. My companions aren't quite here yet. I try to do some ninja junk and evade the thing. It was not to be. As soon as I jump, he hits me like a baseball. I fly off of the hill, back down to the swamp.

Said hill is a good 75-100 feet above the swampy area we were just in. I did not survive the impact.

Got given a mission in a dangerous part of space. I scouted it out in my shuttle, no-one else there. I thought I might be safe, so brought my battlecruiser in to do the mission. 5 Minutes later, a ridiculously nasty Electronic Warfare cruiser jumps in and pins me down; I can't move, I can't target him to shoot, I can't warp to safety. He appears to have used all of the space on his ship for his electronic warfare, so I'm not taking any damage. Still, he's pinned me for a reason, and sure enough two more cruisers eventually jump in, and quickly burn through my shields and armour. I released my little robotic fighters to annoy them, but I can't tell how they did, due to being unable to target anything.

Game? At first I thought it was one of the Battlescruiser games, but BC's battles are not that awesome.

EVE Online, much maligned MMO. I can see why it's maligned, but I do enjoy it a lot anyway.

Most annoying part was that my ship was bigger than theirs. I might have taken down one of them if I wasn't jammed to hell.

Still, well done to the guy; he got me good.

Was playing Unreal World, chasing down three forest reindeer all running the same way. At some point, I realized that if we kept going we would hit a fairly lengthy trap fence I had, and it would do my killings for me. Apparently, I missed a diagonal route that the deer used to escape, whereas I stumbled head first into one of my traps.
