Ran into some Ceaser's Legion troops. managed to take them out after a drawn out battle before being ambushed by ghouls

Not technically death, but I got killed by Chibi Alice using Confusion.
I blame it on losing the starter match (two criticals in a row), leaving me one level lower than I would've been.

Mission 3 on Warzone 2.1k. Out of a unit of 10 double machine gun wheel vipers, 1 made it out alive, and with about 2 hits worth of hit points left.

Nothing. Well, nothing I could see. I'm just walking along, or crawling up to an IFP, or whatever, then BAM!, I'm dead. Or my tank blows up. Or whatever I'm in. Half the time I don't even hear the shot that hits me, much less see anything through any bit of the endless forests that comprises eastern France.

This is why battleground europe is the best war simulator ever.
I fell off a roof in Rome and died. Or, if you count the last member of my squad dying, I was eviscerated by a blast of plasma from a sectoid.
