After a long grind of skills and what seemed to be a Epic fight to the death with some sand ninjas, My group was killed and left to lay in the desert miles from a nearby town. The crew died while I was only 2 mins from saving them with another of my men... RIP Jakku :(
The game was Kenshi

Undocked from a weapons factory, started maneuvering my ship with WASD so I could go for the jump gate. Cue the rear of my Mercury ramming the station and my ship exploding instantly. Oops.

I pick Venice, and my friend picks England. I build an optimized army with a full compliment of armored spear militia, crossbowmen, and heavy infantry. I don't choose any cavalry because I know my friend loves his heavy cavalry and will probably rape any of my shitty italian cavalry.

Enter the game, wide open grassland/field with plenty room to maneuver. Me: 1500 troops armed to the teeth.

Him: 400 sherwood archers.

"Wha.... why?"
*Cue maniacal laughter from friend*

Suffice to say, the much lighter and faster sherwood archers fucked my troops up while my heavy troops exhausted themselves running after the men in tights.

Moral of the story: Always bring cavalry. Always.

Creeper on hardcore.  I left something in a storage shack, ran out to the shed.  Got the item.  Checked all windows.  Opened door.  Looked around.  some ready marsh reed.  Thought, cool.  Hiissssssss. . .

To add insult to injury, I jumped away and had one heart left, but fell into a hole and died.  49.5 damage!!

Hooked on to a titan's back, hoping for an easy kill. The titan instantly turned to face me, phasing the rope through his neck and leaving me magically superglued to his face. To add insult to injury, what actually killed me was a previously unseen titan rushing out of nowhere and smashing me.

The Attack on Titan fangame. Cool idea, but the physics engine (I'm guessing the rope objects are stock Unity elements) just isn't good enough to support it. I still want to get good at it, even if such a thing is impossible.

Cannonball to the body. (Runescape) Actually, that was the last two times I died... -muttergrumblegrrr-

After figuring out how to nuke things I proceed to accidentally nuke the moon, then Earth. Several times.

Everyone knows the handcannon is just a massive gamble. Either they die or you do. At release it was almost as bad as Dragon Claws - ie. 'Use special', win button.

Once again destroyed by the new bane of my existence, the Invincible Titan Blob. Individually dumb, the titans on the new Forest map can become a gestalt superbeing capable of instantly turning to face any attacker for maximum murderization.

Attack on Titan fangame.

A fan-game for Attack on Titan made in Unity. You hook on to buildings and the titular Titans, going for the tiny weak spot on the base of their neck. Strategy and quick reflexes are incredibly important; the best way for beginners is to join a server (requires Hamachi) with three other people and hope that at least one of you makes it to the weak spot.

As I mentioned, there's been a recent update containing a new map set in a forest. I wouldn't really recommend it for anything other than multiplayer due to the Invincible Titan Blobs though.

It's incredibly frustrating, but also super satisfying when you finally start to make progress.
