I still think that the fishing minigame in OoT is the most frustrating.

I did it only once, and I'm not sure if it wasn't really a hallucination, but I think I remember catching some kind of rare fish that the fishing guy paid me 50 rupees but didn't put it in the tank where your record catch was because it was so rare.

I think if you show it to him he takes it no matter what.

I know last time I played it my friend and I beat it together. Took a few hours. Then we had to do it again as an adult.

I missed the switch that was supposed to activate the fans that would allow me to cross a gap. The thing is, I could also make some headway across the gap with the hookshot, leading me to believe that I had to do it that way and the fan was just decoration. I wasted all 15 of my hearts trying to get across the gap.

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. City in the Sky is my new favorite dungeon.

Approaching the boss of the mission with my two partymates, I reached into my pouch to retrieve the mighty Golden Dragon Adniel's Horn Bugle because it's late and we didn't want to actually fight fair with the boss.

Then my client crashed. God dammit!!!!

I was out exploring when I came across a area that was dark even in broad daylight, in the center of this area was a pillar with a broken ladder on one side...
my path was clear and after some preparation I made my accent.
it took an entire day of solid climbing and many full stacks of ladders to finally reach the top and when I got there the tower's boss met me at the gate where he quickly fell to my blade. feeling confident I continued inside fighting through lesser minions in search of treasure. the bottom floor was a single large open room however the way up was very difficult to locate and as I searched for it I heard the sound that has become the bane of my existence Hisssssss...BOOM. The blast didn't so much as scratch my armor however keep in mind I was still on the bottom floor of this floating dungeon. I had plenty of time to curse on the way down and while it took less time than the climb up, the landing could have used some work.

Cube World Alpha. I like the idea of the procedurally generated infinite exploration but I have finally found a game that has worse level scaling than oblivion. I did not think it possible but here it is. Other than the first 10 or so levels I have not felt a sense of progress at all, seeing as everything else keeps bloody pace with me. Well alpha is alpha and there is still a lot of time for this to change.

Smote by two orc priests in quick succession. I could've avoided it, I had just found a cloak of darkness which I could've evoked for invisibility so I could sneak away.

Or I could've just not attacked the two priests in the first place. Kobold assassins are not the most meaty of tanks. YASD.

Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup

I'm so frustrated at myself for dying like that. I had just found a +2 cloak of darkness on DL:3, for crying out loud. There was so much potential for that assassin.

Got to Elf:2 as a HoPr with a fairly large army, along with the very first orc I had ever converted, Wargath. The elves were already a lot more trouble than they were worth, but I stupidly continued on, only to get confused while in small corridor. I smacked Wargath which made him hostile. He nearly finished me off before I got banished to the abyss by an elf. I could not recall my orcish troops in the abyss as my sin of smacking one of my troops angered Beogh. But lo and behold, just as I begin to get surrounded by demons, the gate! I step through, and Wargath smacks me. I get to the back of my lines, where an elven priest smites me.

Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup
This was the farthest I've ever gotten after a couple years of on/off playing. Also my first time in the Abyss, and I got out incredibly quickly from what I've heard.

Hill Orc Priests are so much fun, especially after the most recent update.

Also the Abyss got nerfed a bit in the last update, in the sense that it's supposed to be easier to escape from. Having run into that one unique who banishes you there at the drop of the hat multiple times both before and after that release, I can confirm that yes, it's much easier to escape. If no less deadly while you're actually there.

Also also, yes, the elves are generally more trouble than they're worth, especially for Hill Orc Priests. If I really need/want a staff or wondrous item I'll hit it up a bit before going to Zot, but Elf:3 is pretty brutal, and it's a good way to get your loyal minions killed in droves.
