Don't Starve.  The damn thing was literally whacking away at Chester for over a day.  I expected it to leave after it killed him, but no, it stayed right by the wormhole and then killed me as I jumped back in.  The fact that it didn't move was probably some quirk of how offloaded areas are handled.

Even with two options with Ripple and Missile, I wasn't able to make it past the part where you have to shoot through all the webbing. Dang this game is hard.

Life Force

Playing broforce and If I lose a man during a mission, I have to start that mission over.

Have the brominator, have to jump down onto another, lower platform with a gap in between and a couple of terrorists on it, one of which is a suicide bomber. I killed them both, but the minigun's knockback left me on the edge of the platform. Then the suicide bomber blew up and knocked me of the edge. I couldn't reach a wall in time.

I find myself being more efficient using only the melee attack with some "too powerful main attack" bros (brominator, the bomb one, dredd bro (always end blasting a barrel above me), bro smith, ...).
And it is always funnier to go for a speedrun with bro-blade !

Mass Effect 2

Brominator is really easy to use if you are good with judging knockback. Start, fire, jump, and the knockback will carry you over holes that Indiana Brones or Bro-Blade couldn't dream of crossing. The bomb one is BroGyver, and Agent Bro is easily my favourite.

Managed to defeat a bogeyman onslaught using nothing but Wrestling and Biting.  While going through a well-earned sleep, I was ambushed and mauled to death by wolves.

Fire, assault rifle loaded with AP rounds... They both work well enough. I only use my lightsaber laser rapier when I'm jumping circles around arachnids/feeling suicidal/hit-and-running cyborg assassins and security robots.

Decided to help Moira with the food part of the quest. Upon arriving at the Super Duper Mart, I was greeted by dead raiders, and wastelanders running from a Deathclaw. And of course I get "Deathclaw Chase" the one time I decide to go with just a pistol and a bat.

I quicksaved just before I saw them. The first death came from me trying to be a hero and trying to save the Wastelanders by shooting at it. Apparently the Deathclaw was so unfazed by my bullets that it took the time to finish chasing the Wastelanders and kill them. Then once it was done it decided it was still hungry............

Second death came from inside the Mart. I used all of my ammo on the Deathclaw and grabbed the Raider's weapons to kill it. It worked. Since I all had was a bat and there were just Raiders inside I figured I could take them. However shotgun to the face said otherwise.

I seem to be charging into a lot of missiles lately.

Teamed up with a crew that loved their bank heists. Who can blame them - it's easy cash!

First heist: Zero difficulty stars. We pretty much died of boredom.

Second heist: One difficulty star. A nice payout, and it was reasonably challenging.

Third heist: Two difficulty stars. We died horrifically midway through the first assault wave, overwhelmed by no fewer than three simultaneous Bulldozers.

The game doesn't provide an option to change your mission after a loss (unless I'm missing a button...), so we opted to retry. We got within 1 minute of opening the vault before the game decided to send an absolutely enormous number of Tazers and a whole horde of supporting troops, stomping us into the ground.

I'm hoping, by the end of beta, there'll be an option to abandon a mission after a loss without disbanding your crew in the process. Sadly, there isn't, so our excellent crew chose to break up rather than continue bashing our heads against this brick wall of a job.

Payday: The Heist 2

Playing Ace Combat 5 on hard.  On the final level, and I haven't died since the 8492nd mission (It took a few tries to kill them all.). All is going well, until suddenly GIANT PANEL OUT NOWHERE.  The great Ghost of Razgriz, defeated by an inanimate object.
