There's a new Raid in Mabinogi. Everyone on the server who could be bothered, vs. the gigantic black dragon and his summoned mini-dragon buddies.

Today it took me just a little bit longer than everyone else to figure out we didn't have enough people, so when everyone else ditched I got dumped with rather a lot of aggro... Then I got stepped on.

I lost on the first fucking turn.

To clarify, I started a new game, and sent out my colony ship to a neighbouring star, looking for a colonizable planet. The star has an exploration event. Two elite pirates spawn. They go and blockade my homeworld. The two ships vastly outclass anything I can build, and the blockade means I'm not generating any research points, so I can't even invent something can fight them.

First. Fucking. Turn. What the fuck, game.

In what has got to be my most pathetic death yet, I died cowering in a 1x1x2 pit. A player with full diamond gear caught me lurking in my cave just below the topsoil, so I dug said pit and jumped in when I heard him coming. I let off of the shift key too early though, and he must have caught my floating nametag because he dug me right out and killed me in a few hits.

Minecraft. He stole all my torches, but not the 40 coal I had in my furnace...

Got grabbed by one of the 4 kings mid casting, and my guy decided once he was let go, he would rather scream at the sky then take a swig from his full estus flask and die to a sword strike.

2.5 million years after Trichordate civilization left the Earth on space cities, Avians gained sentience.

They progressed normally until they reached atomic age. Fossil fuels were low so I turned them to atomic, and devoted more of their time to sciences.

Then it happened: Nuclear World War. The avians were pretty cruel, so they bombed each other even as I, in fit of panic, lowered their atomic usage.

But alas, it was for nothing. The nuclear fallout and greenhouse gases began the almost irreversible process of turning Earth into rocks. Compare this with pic 100 years later so you can see.

Oceans boiled off and Earth became post-nuclear wasteland. Not 'Fallout' type wasteland - everything was desert.

Avians died off, their domed cities crumbling to dust. The Earth made an attempt at getting new life after I tossed ice meteor on her, but random meteors and volcanic activity foiled my plans. Last 3.5 billion years I watched Earth turn into Mars, before Sun grew into supergiant and engulfed the once lush and green rock that was Earth.

After a short "battle" that consisted of Tavion decapitating seven of my clones with every swing, she turned her attention to me. However, I had forgotten to use the iknowkungfu cheat, so I was pretty much defenseless against the final boss of the game.

Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

Yeah, on my version when I did that quest for my LP, I died maybe three times to a Kynval who knocked the entire party dead or unconscious and took 40% hp off me with each hit.

A big, fat <3 to you! Its so much fun, but so difficult in adventure mode. The story is fantastic, besides.
