Invisible hill orcs. I have no idea where they were coming from or why they were invisible, but it got to the point where I had to kill as many as 10 of them just to get to the next room. If I waited to restore my health, more would keep pouring in. All of this on top of accidentally killing my cat by trying to hit a kobold with a ricocheted spell, and teleportitis.

I went in with 14 aquanauts, 11 armed with Gauss Rifles and 3 with Sonic Cannons.  Their mission- To take back our ship.  Exempt they failed miserably, unable to do anything through all the panicking and mind control.  I eventually managed to get out with five alive.  Aliens killed? One.

Great game is great. Blasta Launcha from the first one is best thing ever.
The amount of blasta launcha's I carried onto a mission was inversely proportional to the amount of supplies I currently had.  If I didn't need any elerium, a few people would exit the Avenger, make sure it was clear, and then my ten blasters would exit and LEVEL the UFO. 
Unfortunatly, I am not nearly as good at Terror from the Deep.

I was trying to do a belly-dance and turn into a monkey, but a giant cycloptic lobster sidechecked me before I could finish. Should probably have beaten him to death with my hair first. #HalfGenieProblems

Was Captain. Made bombs, blew up sections of the station. Was running around killing people, telling them that I'd kill them all, or they could call the shuttle.

I went through the teleporter... Turned into a flyman... Then a monkey... Then died.

Fail.

Found a pair of diving goggles high up in an old giant crab monster nest.  The crab monster nest is built on an inactive volcano with a small lava pool at the bottom. Diving goggles usually indicate a cool place to jump from into a pool of water.  And so far has never been lethal.

So I did the logical thing.  Put on the goggles, stripped off my clothes and jumped into the pool of lava.

I got an achievement.  "The Goggles Do Nothing."

In Dark Souls, when you die, your "souls" (currency) and "humanity" (special resource) are left where you died. You have one chance to recover them.

Okay. First death, I'm carrying 200k souls (a lot) and 11 humanities. Get glitched into a wall and die to giant sentries inside Anor Londo cathedral. Okay, happens.

On my way back, I see a silver spearman. I have been farming those for the last half an hour, so I think to myself "Hey, why not. Free souls."

Miss a parry. Hit a shield with a spear which causes me to get staggered. Second and third hit are critical due to spears' special and I'm dead. Within 1 second, I just lost everything because of my (over)confidence.

GOD DAMN DARK SOULS. I had to walk away from the computer so I wouldn't smash something.
