Didn't actually lose. In fact, I was doing well enough for being underleveled in EBF4. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised to find GC both easier in some aspects (The stress of the battle is separated across multiple waves, rather than one boss who switches elements.) and harder in other aspects (So many stronger summons, combined with contrasting elemental absorption of all present enemies meant I was hard pressed to attack weaknesses, heal my team, debuff the enemy and buff my team all at once without healing the enemy.)
I was already on the sixth of seven waves for the fight against Godcat. Basically, it's the last actual wave, as fighting the machines "The Creator" and "The Destroyer" are the only parts of the battle you can actually beat, and this was the two of them at once.
Already had "The Destoyer" dead and "The Creator" was at less than a quarter of its max hp. All setup for Black Hole Limit Break, Cleaver with maxed Anarchy and Damage buff, and a final dark element attack by Natz if all else failed. I was quite literally at the LAST 3 TURNS before I beat the game.
Then shockwave flash crashed the whole page.
