Well, if you don't click the spoilers and try to imagine every death took place in the same game, it's funny trying to imagine how it all fits together.

It would be an awesome game.

Wasn't there a forum game based around this concept?

Lost a battle of attrition against a Mantis Ship. Ran into the problem I always have on Zoltan starts - shops never have weapons. Once you start running into enemies with more than 2.5 points of shielding the Halberd Beam is basically useless if you don't have enough firepower to get through their shields. I had a good thing going with boarding the enemy ships, but eventually they started fighting in the medical bay, which is hard to counter when none of your weapons penetrate their shields. FTL.

You do better than I do. I haven't unlocked much (Engi and Rockmen) and usually wind up with whatever weapons the game decides to give me as spoils of war. Once, I made it to the last jump... and was utterly annihilated by the suddenly-souped-up rebel scum on the other side.

Freedom ruins everything!

...That, and those bloody Chaurus Reapers! Every time I decide to go and explore an interesting nook or cranny, there they are, creeping silently through the shadows, across the rocks, through the crags and halls of forgotten places, just waiting to for the perfect opportunity to one-shot me like an unarmored idiot- fair enough!- and send me flailing into a wall/subterranean lake/black abyss/dwarven trash can.

It's gotten to the point where I am considering actually turning the difficulty down a notch (I normally play at Master, since the game is inherently easy lemons) simply because I am tired of spending most of my game time on the reloading screen. : :'(

I play on Master, but I'm a melee god. I have an armor of 800+ and Legendary equipment with level 80 enchantments. >.> So. Yeah.

I was killed by failing to cast Cure Light Wounds when low on HP.

Yep! :D

Admirable, but also the reason that I refuse to upgrade armor past a certain tier (specifically, the one that offers the armor I find the most aesthetically pleasing) if I do wear it at all, and generally avoid anything better than ebony or glass. I try to travel in mage robes or clothing, and suit up for special occasions and dungeon crawls. :P

Being the second third fourth coming of Lord Nerevar Face-Crush is fun while it's novel, but as has been the case at least since Morrowind, tends to trivialize... everything. I do wish there were a "hardcore" difficulty level, at which enemies dealt truly immense lamounts of damage, but by that same token had relatively low HP themselves and could be cut like grass where applicable. Nothing is more infuriating than felling an Elder Dragon only to be instantly bludgeoned to death by a bare-chested bandit with a rusty warhammer, all because your legendary, fire-sheen diamond sword can't pierce his epidermis.

You could say that the biggest issue is that TES isn't Dragon's Dogma. ::)

My human wrestler went to sleep in the wilderness, was attacked by around 6-8 night creatures who promptly surrounded him.  In one combat turn, my poor, defenseless guy had his spine broken, a few cuts, and some bruises.  I knew I could not win, so I chose starvation, to deny these bastards the satisfaction of getting my name to their kill records.

Was swarmed by kobolds after all of my companions died to TACTICAL GENIUS (the kobold archers hid out of my sight).

That has to take effort.  To starve right before a creature's jaw snaps around your neck.

Ony my side, those damn QTE in Tomb Raider. I thought game developers stopped using those years ago.

Combined death and ownage: Playing over a LAN with my buddy: I'm Tau, he's Space Marines. I have a small but potent infantry force holding the central area of the map while our combined tank force flattens a Chaos base. Just as the final Chaos building returns to the warp however, a massive wave of Orks come pouring into the central area. I truly mean massive, probably at least seven full-sized and upgraded squads, and they all come bearing down on my Fire Warriors, Pathfinders, and Commander. This area is the most direct point of connection between me and my buddy; if we lose this area, we won't be able to combine our forces as easily.

And so my troops die. They reap a bloody harvest in Ork bodies, but they hold the line to the very last, and my Commander perishes just as a wave of heavy bolter-equiped Marines launch their counterattack, slaying the surviving greenskins and buying me time to replenish my army.

Deciding to go on a rampage in Adventure Mode, I gen up a dwarf character and attack the first villager I find. He instantly destroys my spine with a single kick and proceeds to beat me to death while I lay in agony.

Turns out I had decided to attack a previous adventurer of mine that I had forgotten about :P
