* 10 seconds after the game begins, Yellow locks Weaver.
* Weaver: "Bot or I feed"
* One of the guys already on bottom moves to top.
* He proceeds to give up first blood.
* Weaver: "Top or I feed"
* He's coming top anyways, I TP to bot.
* He dies on top lane.
* Weaver: "Bot or I feed".
* Me: "Not sure if trolling or just really bad."
* Weaver: "My first game, be nice."

Suuuure it is. New players start DotA, and their first reaction is to threaten to feed. 

TL:DR: Annoying troll feeds, we get GG'd at ~25 minutes.

And in the space of about a turn I went from being surrounded by squishy wizards to being surrounded by shifting lava, walls, and horrible demons. Did better than I thought I would, running from Shadow Dragon Skeletons, Liches, Cacodemons, Smoke Demons, blowing all the Piety I had built up with Trog to summon berserker allies and access his regeneration/magic resistance ability. Leveled up four times and was gifted a Dire Flail of Protection, but ultimately found myself cornered by an Efreet, Six Headed Hydra Skeleton, and whatever demon that is that gives you horrible mutations. I'd already burned through my scrolls of teleport and healing items, and wasn't able to evoke my teleportation ring before the closed in.

It was a looong (marathon) fun ride, but one thing about making literally everyone in the world hate you: make sure you can win or seperate subjagate them.  fought too many wars with too many units and not enough economy.  About Riflemen I had my last good war.  The rest was struggling to keep my  vast communist empire intact.

I have absolutely no luck with bombs. This is about the 4th time I've tried to defuse a bomb in a tabletop RPG, and once again it blew up while I was working on it. This time it just straight killed me instead of taking my hands.

The station had been through quite a bit this round. Attacked by space carp, boarded by space pirate monkeys, ravaged by clowns, and I think a wizard was involved somewhere. I was making my way to the shuttles after dealing with a few space carp trying to break into cargo when 3 clowns jumped me and destroyed my beloved ripley, but I had the last laugh on them by dragging them out into the cold vacuum of space before using my fire extinguisher to jet back to safety. I gave a brief moment of silence to mourn my beloved mining suit before I was jumped by terrible big mouthed monsters which I could not comprehend.

As Bayern-Munchen, I was event-inherited or maybe decision-inherited by my vassal Bavaria. Instant game over without any chance to save and swap countries... THANKS BAYERN-STRAUBING FOR MAKING ANSBACH RELEASE THEM. TOTALLY A GREAT THING YOU DID THERE.

Yeah, definitely reloading and going to the console to fix this, because this is silly.

Hey, it happens to the AI all the time. You're complaining about giving the AI advantages that the player already has?

(Haha, jokes. That would be incredibly annoying. If possible, reload as Bavaria, fire the event manually and decline it. Then you can return as normal.)

I opened a door in a dungeon. First reaction by an enemy on the other side? A magic arrow which paralyzed me. I then got hit by 6 more arrows, before being finished off by a sword blow.

I question whether that's even remotely fair by the game.

This is pretty old, and its more like "How you stopped playing Ironman in X-Com"...

So, playing Ironman Impossible. After 30 tries to pass the tutorial mission (which restarts with fresh characters every time you wipe) I finally get pass with an epic team, rocking around the first few missions and going strong. Get the first Slingshot Mission, sliding along the edge of the map taking things slow and shit. Thin Men and that Chryssalid start appearing all over the map...

Then I notice, the Chryssalid and Two Thin Men bunch together by accident, I had already peppered the Chryssalid with some fire before so it was low on health and the Thin Men were weak. My Heavy was perfectly positioned...

I fire my rocket, waiting for impact to woop in joy to the exploding corpses of these foolish aliens, the explosion starts, Connects with the Chryssalid's face, then stops, stalling, forever. The game Crashed... I WAS ANGRY, but hey its Ironman, it totally saved AFTER I fired the shot right... WRONG...

I come back into the game with my Heavy ready to fire, the shot lines up. THEN FIRES 100000m OFF IN THE OTHER DIRECTION!!! The Chryssalid goes next and then happily runs up and kills the VIP in one action... FAILURE...

I stopped playing Ironman from then on. I never savescummed during a fight though, just restarted the whole battle if a crash happens. Much happier...

Blown up by a tank while trying to cross to the building on the other side of the street. I shot the stupid thing with a rocket just like the game asked, but no dice.

Conflict Vietnam. Oh god I don't know why I started playing this game again, it's just as terrible as I remember it. I don't even know why I'm so far in to it, either.

Shot with Chloral Hydrate in a syringe gun, then shot with my own laser gun, then spaced. It wouldn't have been a big deal if my internet hadn't died right before it happened. I would have won that little gun battle.

Robot Unicorn Attack

Tried out Cataclysm DDA again, this time with Alexander McOdai III. One of my best characters, and I also got a pickup truck, and a lot of supplies from town. Farms really are the best place to hideout, so I drove my car into the barn, went outside, and killed the one zombie farmer that was happily wanting to nom on my flesh.

Although farms are actually meat farms, because every hour or so half a dozen squirrels or rabbits attach themselves to the barbed wire protecting the farm and ready themselves for the harvesting. Now, if rabbits can come, surely deers, wolves, bears, and cougars can come too.

None of them were a problem... except I saw a bear near the main and only entrance. Whilst I was in the middle of a farming field... and it turned hostile as soon as I got near the entrance. Running to the house's door to hide turned futile, since along the way it took quick bites at me and as soon as I was one tile away from the door, it hit me in the torso and made me DIE.

It was my best character... ;_;
