Ragequit after my pointman(who has over 60% Evasion on his wanzer, and about 30-40% from his own skills) gets shot up. About 8 attacks total for massive damage(about 35 per shot, and about 10-15 shots per attack with the shotgunners), dodged not one of them, despite the fact that I put him in front just to be shot at(and dodge them).

And that was just the first goddamned turn. Plus, behind the three or so guys I was fighting, there were about 20 more, two of whom had anti-aircraft weapons, keeping me from calling air support.

Didn't know you played tabletop. Awesome :D

It's been awhile. I like the Tyranids, but I had a Chaos fleet, and Ork Epic. o.O So, wierdest combo ever. I'm going to start trying to collect a real Tyranid army, probably starting with the Battleforce, then get a Tyranid fleet, because DAYUM. Close combat in space for the motherfrakking win. Tyranid ships get claws and tentacles instead of normal stuff like lots of gun batteries and lance.

I don't even know where they sell Battlefleet Gothic stuff, except maybe direct from GW's website. I've pulled together a small Tau army though.

So I was going to check if I learned the script well enough to transform an NPC into hostile monster.

I choosen Amanda the helpful witch/priestess to turn her into a nephil.

Unfortunately I've added one number too much and she turned into a dragon. Test adventurer party met quick and fiery death.

You might be able to find someone's used fleet on Ebay or another auction site, for way better prices than GW does. I gather that is how most people start their armies.

Had a brand new Torus with 2 Engi and a human for crew.

On my first jump, out of no where, I get a boarding crew of 4 of the horse spider things.
I would send my 3 crew into the room and have to pull them right back out and to med bay as the boarders tore my ship apart. Managed to do this process 7 or 8 times and kill one of the boarders. Then they got in the med bay and tore it apart. Nothing else I could do but die.

Was playing Nethack for the first time today.

I read a scroll, which chained an iron ball to me.
I then fell down some stairs.
See where this is going?
It just keeps hapening?

In other news, I sent a small squad back to deal with a threat my (also a noob) opponent sent about a minute before departure, and I didn't want to have to deal with the potential butterflies of just changing my past orders, because they were part of a defensive force, so I didn't want them to mess anything up.
I sent them back, they destroyed the pre-attack, then I sent them over to where they departed so that they would still arrive in time enough to fight off the attack in the present. I spend a while reorganising the defense around to cover some weak spots, when a time wave passes and I notice my defensive forces have moved with it. But not just little shifts like I'd expect. They were mostly in one corner of the now half destroyed base, the rest ineffectively trickling through the gaps in the buildings and getting picked off.

Turns out that the team I sent out to deal with the past-attack had got caught up trying to navigate the base and I hadn't checked, so it messed up my entire defense. The pathing is so broken ;_;
Achron.
The pathing really is so incredibly broken. The Resequence engine is good though, so it has that.
Same game, same opponent.
I'm thinking he isn't as much of a n00bzor as he let on, or at least, not as much of one as me.

This time, he rushed chronoporting tech and sent back a force of heavy tanks and aircraft back to almost the start of the round, where they proceeded to blow up my fledgeling base, which at this point was ony a single factory and a couple of resource collectors.

Same game. Different guy. This one was pretty much me being curbstomped by two assaults by two assaults. Both were with the same units, so I knew time-trickery was involved, but I couldn't tell which was going to be the genuine one and which was just an echo (something that would get erased with the next timewave). Both could have crippled me if they came through, and my defenses were only good enough to tackle one of them. Guess who picked the wrong one?
Hint: It was me.

Finished a Data Retrieval quest for someone, they taught me about cooking. I asked them to join my group, they blew apart my torso with a SMG.

He was my friend... My mentor...
