Game: Counter-Strike: Source

There was an arch that was being used as a choke point. There was a horizontal sign across it, with clear sky above, and a good amount of air below. Most of the team is at ground level, darting through the choke point, or chucking grenades (it was a large server). I run up to a balcony near the choke point and try chucking a grenade quick so I can contribute to the covering fire.

I clearly hear a soft "tink" sound through the cacophony of gunfire and notice my grenade coming home again. I promptly run away, only to die from an explosion at the bottom of the stairs.

To rephrase, I bounced my grenade from a narrow horizontal barrier, then ran away to the bottom of the stairs where the grenade met me and exploded. The rest of the match was... slightly better.

On my first computer, I had 500 deaths and one win. You'll get there eventually :)

Entered the haunted woods looking for flowers, and a zombie wolf immediately burst from the ground and started chasing me. I started running, but was a bit clumsy with the mouse because it's been forever since I played this game and wolves are fast, but managed to stay ahead of it and the fox that joined it. Feeling like I had gotten the hang of things again, I tried to plant a "Danger" flag... and ran straight to the spot instead.

Beeeep. "Oh shi--" BOOM!

I was running around, dodging arrows, saving girls, and stuff like that. I blasted my way into a small cavern filled with goodies, and grabbed a whole bunch of valuables, as well as a case of bombs and glue to make them sticky. Also, there was yet another mamsel in distress. So, I picked up the girl, and noticed the exit was right beneath us, with only a small layer of ground in between. So I dropped a bomb and ran to the other side of the cavern.

And that's when I noticed sticky bombs stick to mamsels. I threw her away from me, but too late, the blast killed us both.

I got out of my seat (which was on the roof) to walk around, because our ship wasn't going anywhere because some asshat spawned a part assembler (part assemblers cause massive lag) and the pilot didn't want to crash into any planets or asteroids. The lag stopped and he suddenly started driving again while I was on the front part of the roof. I fell in front of the ship and got rammed, dying from the impact.
