Started a game with an AI player on my team(locked teams OFF). First thing it does is position troops around my cities, then breaks alliance and declares war. Ceasefire hadn't even fricking ended yet! Ragequit.

The A.I actually does use cheats on Empire Earth 1.

I once lost a match due to my enemy having 8 nuclear bombers. I went into statistics and my A.I enemy had used about 18 cheats.

And yet, I'm surprised Empire Earth doesn't have any entries in TvTropes' TheComputerIsACheatingBastard page(although Empire Earth's page has it).


Also, more recent death. Sneaking through a castle, trying to find(and kill) Hideyori Toyotomi, slaughtering guards by the dozen, beat up a fun-loving loli-ninja, found Hideyori, killed him, found out it was a decoy, headed to the next floor, ambushed by loli-ninja, killed.

After getting poisoned by a snake in the early levels, I got impatient and started guzzling potions in the hopes that one was a remove poison potion.
I ended up drinking poison, a potion of confusion, and getting sick, dying from multiple status effects at once.

My next adventurer was killed by the ghost of that potion-guzzling asshole.

Modded the game to be able to play as whatever demons were genned with the world. Started out as a demon made of snow. Got rammed to death by a bunny. Stupid placeholder materials.

walked into the mad chevalier's castle, or whatever it's called. The game called it a Bailey, I think. Go into the first room, swarm of orcs, easy. Wipe 'em out without needing to beserk. Second room, larger swarm. Easy, but some of them are poking me with tridents from a distance. kill 'em anyway. Third room, Swarm of orcs with orc warriors mixed in. Take a lot more damage, those warriors aren't as squishy as normal orcs. Still not hard. Fourth room, new type of orc. Orc knight, huh?... I can't hit you. all your friends are mobbing me and I can't kill them quickly enough even while beserk. Ok, I'll clear out a path to somewhere you can't mob me... low on health, time to drink a healing potion... but I'm beserk. Too beserk to think about sissy things like health. Shit. Time to run.

I died to a 3 damage hit from a bastard with a Trident of Reach. Damnit.
