Fused one of those explosive barrels to the end of a stick. Then I proceeded to hit something with that stick. No, I'm not surprised by the result.

Oddly enough, the stick survived.

Yeah, Subnautica's Cyclops design is pretty clearly based off OceanGate's Cyclops 1 as well.

Spoiler: Comparison (click to show/hide)

The Cyclops 1 sub still exists though. The one that imploded was their newer Titan sub.

Ah, hubris is my name. I had grown brazen and indolent, my Paragon-led fleet effortlessly blitzing through Pirate and Pather fleets and starbases.

So when I saw a ₡285,000 Hegemony deserter bounty pop up in a nearby system, I ordered my fleet to do battle with this pathetic renegade.

Turns out that two Onslaught-class battleships, backed by multiple smaller ships with the XIV Fleet modifier, is just on a whole different level of power to even the massive Pirate fleets I had been fighting against before.

I managed to run away, but only with a single Eradicator-class fast cruiser and two combat freighters, which had boosters that let them flee before the awesome destructive power that was nipping at their heels.

Onslaughts have poor turning and a vulnerable rear (giggity). Good strategy would be tearing away at the escorts where possible, either don't deploy the Paragon until they're dealt with or put an officer with elite flux modulation in it and just use it as a distraction. Once that's done, try to split the Onslaughts and remaining escorts from one another and send all the smaller, faster ships to swarm one while the Paragon pins down the other.

Honestly, sometimes I prefer faster cruisers for the purpose of punishing any frigates/destroyers that decide to leave their battle line. A good number of strike weapons means you can cripple or destroy them fast then back out before you start getting smacked, and heavily damaged ships often retreat.

Hyperions can take down Onslaughts too if you control them and just keep behind.

EDIT: Everything was perfect. I had a wand that shot 5 light bolts simultaneously at double damage and a second wand that always cast reinvigorating circle, so I had an infinite use healing item and an amazing weapon.

I put electric torch on my light wand, thinking "I'll use this to light things up if needed"

Little did I know that the game will sometimes apparently give you an instakill electric shock if you touch something metallic with it. I dropped from full health to 0 instantly, with electricity as my cause of death.

Tried to play LOTR mod for Dominions 5 with a pal.  ::)
Llamserver croaked on turn 2, probably because of version mismatch.
Discord couldn't stomach the map combined with mod for some reason, and we learned why did it hang up only two weeks later.
Blitzserver decided to not work at all that day.
Direct connect failed becuase of blanket IP blockage between Russia and Ukraine.
Hamachi could have bypassed all this mess, but pal couldn't be bothered to install it.

After painstakingly acquiring a screw driver, saw, and hammer to disassemble a door, only to find no fishing supplies in a dock building, I decided to test out the 8x scope for a new rifle.  I learned that I am a really bad shot.  Six shots hit with the rifle, and about a whole magazine of pistol rounds were not enough to bring down a single zombie.  Since there were just 3, and I was over encumbered to the point where I couldn't outrun them, I started taking swings with a baseball bat, but gradually accumulated scrapes and cuts in the melee.  After finally downing them, I was in the process of ripping clothing into bandages, but bled out and died as I tried to apply 1.

Blasted by a magical laser turret or something.

Tunic.

Tunic is surprisingly hard.  I've probably died 10 times in the first hour or so.  The game doesn't give you a shield until after you've beaten some fairly tough enemies, and doesn't even give you a sword until after fighting past a few tough ones.  You're also pretty fragile at the start of the game, but I just figured out how to increase my stats.

I die inside a little very time the cute little fox dies.  :(

Not so much as died but hoodwinked by the game. Previous game required health to acquire a certain weapon, so I spent the majority of my stat increases on health on this game as well.

This game requires stamina... which I've been neglecting for the most part.

Got killed by Paarthurnax.

He refused to give me a straight answer, until I froze to death.

Also froze to death. Also because of a dragon. In this case, a Frost Gleeok.

Playing Train Valley (I'm playing only a few levels each day so I don't burn through it), and I managed to find a puzzle that has me stumped: The Zepplin.

All of the factories are on hills that are difficult to reach and also have tight spaces, and I'm not allowed bridges. It's also got a 12 minute limit to get the best score, so running trains past the goal, switching tracks, and running them backwards to avoid weird turns isn't cutting it. And I can't build up the money fast enough to take the long way (which also takes a while, because it's long) because I can't get to the factories to produce the processed versions of the base resources.
