Bled out as I was fumbling through the crafting menu trying to make a bandage to stop the bleeding. Had the materials to(granted, I only confirmed this afterwards), just couldn't type in the search bar fast enough.

In all fairness, trying to rummage through an almost completely dark cabin in the woods at night probably wasn't the best idea. Fortunately, I had the presence of mind to drop a bedroll right there before dying.

EDIT: Spent the night near my campfire and bedroll - in retrospect, leaving it lit so I could see was probably a bad idea - and waited until morning to start gathering wood for a more permanent structure. I get the resources, and I have the crafting menu about to start making the frames when I hear something behind me. A swarm of zombies are charging in my direction.

Most of them ignore me, but two bloated zombies and a business-suit zombie peel off from the horde to come after me. My club breaks, but I get distance enough to make new(and better, thanks to skill training during the night) one. By the time the second zombie is down, I'm down to single-digit HP. The third dies without problem, and as I bend down to check the loot, a zombie nurse goes down on me.

T15 map, doesn't have too nasty mods but you still gotta be extremely careful. Run into a triple essence yellow beast, now, I can facetank and leech up trough most of the damage, but at certain points all of its fucking effects from the added mods overlap and i'm just erased, all the dodge, evasion, resistance, blocking and 6k hp meaning sweet fuck all. Luckily the poison I stacked on it got it in the end, not before losing 3 portals to it :V

Afterwards I lose the map completely because it has a no-regen mod, which means the only way I can get mana is by hitting things, at melee range. Now I don't have mana flasks because I almost never need them, in this case I had no mana so I couldn't shield charge into a pack of ranged mobs which were capable of one-shotting me by sheer number of shit they'd fire as I was approaching them, and they were guarding the only narrow bridge towards the rest of the map. So I tried walking into them regular way but I was dead about halfway there :V

Path of Exile

Edit:

Adding this because it's fucking irritating that it's happened the exact same way twice now. Having a good and balanced match as pally against a mage in arena, but then they drop that goddamn kabal courier and get the fucking frost lich jaina. At that point you really can't win anymore because you have lost your hero power and they have a dumb amount of healing and board control now.
What's the point of pulling a card from the draft if you can still just discover it from any of the billion random card generating things present in the game.

Was playing late at night and accidentally rear-ended some guy while driving sleepily. I then proceeded to get last place on the next two races because he decided to fucking sideswipe me off the track at every opportunity after that.

Forza 7

EDIT: I just did more races and pretty much every one has followed the pattern of "do OK for 20 seconds, slow down because the people in front of me are starting a pile-up, get rear-ended at 150MPH, fall to last place, never catch up". The copious amount of crashing in multiplayer was amusing at first but it's getting really fucking annoying.

Fire Emblem Sacred Stones, chapter 5. I gone in wrong direction with Natasha, Joshua killed some people AND got killed himself. Then i killed one of my characters due to my own stupidity. Then again. Then again. Then i did everything alright and even recruited Joshua properly, but then i noticed bandits coming after last "village". In vain attempt to distract them i sent thief in a bunch of enemies. He died. Bandits was unphased and destroyed the village.
Then game started to outright troll me (thief missing archer two times out of four and two axemans killing main character in one turn, while they both have around 30% actual chance of hitting her once. Ain't it great?). Then game trolled me some more. Then i died few times again because of wrong character placement.
Then i managed to do everything right. My most tanky unit (Gilliam, not Seth, i don't use him) goes to aggro Joshua... and gets killed in one turn by 60% chance crit. Apparently, i lucked out on my first try. Ok, Seth, here we go.
And then i gone on wiki to see if you really need to use that literally unkillable walking slaughterhouse that shouldn't exist to beat the mission properly and discover that
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Then i discovered that beating Chapter 6 on hard with completing secondary(?) objective without either Seth (i really don't want to use him), Garcia (wasn't recruited, i managed to get Ross killed in mission they both was supposed to join me. Garcia didn't because Ross died) or Franz with really big amount of levels (obvious) is very close to being technically impossible (and also appears to be practically impossible) thing to do.

He’s a pre-promoted unit when you don’t have any promoted characters for a while.

That's how he's absurdly massively overpowered, still not hearing much why here. :P

Maybe because they thought the kind of person who's against using prepromotes wouldn't notice?

I think that he is an anti-stuck feature for freakish cases like my Chapter 6 (i think i already died more than 30 times there). That is available anytime anywhere because of how the game works, of course.  :P

Being a promoted class (in a party full of first-classes at least) means you have much higher stats than anyone else, so you can tank damage that would kill other people and basically destroy most enemies by looking at them. However, some prepromoted characters have really bad stat growths, so while they’re useful for tight spots in the early game, they can become less and less worth it as you reach later chapters and the rest of your party promotes. They also devour experience that could go toward developing weaker units.

There’s a specific archetype name for “prepromote that sucks late game” but I don’t remember it. I think that’s what Seth is.

That's "Jagen". Seth is the polar opposite of one, as he's strong enough to have little trouble soloing hard mode.

Ah, okay. If Seth is a Jagen then I believe the sucky prepromote archetype is Oifey?

A 'prepromote that sucks late game' is called a Jagen, after a Paladin of the same name in FE1 with hands down the worse stat/level progression in any Fire Emblem game. A crutch for early-game but you'll suffer in the long run if you try to use him like an actual unit.

Seth isn't a Jagen-type though. He's an Oifey, which is very similar except for one important difference: They don't suck late game. Apparently Seth is one of the strongest characters in any Fire Emblem game. He starts out with great stats and has the progression needed to keep pace as he levels up. Other characters might be able to surpass him eventually but that still leaves a majority of the game where he is indisputably your best unit. Afterwards he's just one of the best.

So you've just got your archtypes mixed around, SB. It's fine.

In Conan exiles I fell off a really high cliff, realized I was dead as soon as I fell, took my hands off the controls to take a drink, survived the fall, and then got eaten by 5 crocodiles at once.
