Dungeons of Dredmor. I felt like playing a dungeon rogue-like and it just fit. I entered a monster zoo and i was weakened from the constant combat when i found a unique raging diggle.
 we stared at each other for a minute. he knew i only had 4 hp left. we clashed and i lost.

Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne

The battle system is pretty cool tbh, after a crit or hitting a weakness you only spend a half turn and the other half turn can be used by actions that normally take up a full turn.

Heading after an interesting pillar of light that came down a ways upriver from my camp, I head up a plateau overlooking the river only to come face to face with a raptor.  Given the choice between the raptor or the cliff behind me, I took the cliff.  One steep drop later, I come to a sharp and sudden stop at the shore...right in front of a second raptor.  Hey, dinner and a show.

REMIND YOURSELF THAT OVERCONFIDENCE IS A SLOW AND INSIDIOUS KILLER
(While running through the undead parish to firelink from Andre's bonfire, I decided to fight the balder knights on a whim. Somehow I died. I ran back, thinking I'd grab them easy, but then got stabbed to death by undead soldiers. These are all enemies that I can now one-shot with a really big axe. I was carrying a bit more than 10000 souls.)

I decided to give an online game a shot for the first time in forever. I immediately regretted it when I remembered that free online games are pay to win, and got pitted against a player with all purchaseable weapons and stuff. I didn't land a single hit with my crappy weapons before they obliterated me using a storm of homing asteroid things.

They're literally unavoidable.

Decided to play Minecraft again. Saw an option for lava oceans. Huh. Turns on Lava Oceans.

I spawn amongst a river of fire. All around me, things are burning. World Gen has gone completely wrong. I die ablaze attempting to cross a fire coated marshland.

"Bank Error in Your Favor" was surprisingly easy for me.

Road Rage made me rage at least once.

The bug where vehicles I'm driving suddenly stop remains.

Also, it's surprisingly easy to fall off/accidentally dismount your bike. Sometimes I get thrown so hard I actually die from the impact.

Low framerate makes it difficult to shoot accurately...

Not the most fun experience I've had.

Saints Row 2.

I loaded up my save where I had just launched a large grid-sized hydrogen rocket to space. Earlier, I had made it to space but then the game crashed so I expected to have to relaunch the rocket (which isn't too bad, it only takes a few minutes to get outside of a planet's gravitational influence with a speed mod on). I ended up AFKing while the game loaded. When I came back, I was indeed on my way away from the planet but my entire ship except for the control chair was gone.

Space Engineers. I still have a ground base but it's really annoying to have to rebuild the entire ship again.

So in this 2D platformer, there's a strange icon which spawns a glitchy copy of yourself as an enemy.  It mimics your every movement, about a second behind.

It's a neat mechanic, I guess.  Frustrating sometimes.  It forces you to remember what you did, so you know what your "clone" is going to do.
Well "clones", there are often several.

And they put this in stage 4 out of 5 in a set (quitting resets your progress in a set).  Though this set is in Ultimate mode, and it would be pretty easy with enough planning, so...  still, rrrgh

It was a staple for me in college, just for its simplicity and fair difficulty.  N++ is exactly what I would want from a sequel:  More levels, a few more mechanics, and (okay this is awesome) the ability to view replays from people... specifically, people *close to you in score*.  Or just the best.  Or friends (none of my friends like this game )

I died several times in FTL.  I'm too used to boarding-strategies (which I admit are OP as all hell, Mantis B 4 life).  I know I can win 4/5 times with the Osprey (Federation flagship, Wave Motion Cannon), but surely I can win with the basic Kestrel.  Surely.  I-I just keep getting unlucky, right...?

Maybe I only won with Kestrel on easy?
