Trying to sneak into a base. Already Fultoned the guy outside the outer gate, moved to the inner gate to start marking guards. I mark one approaching the near me, so I crawl backwards- "Contact!"

MGS V:TPP. So much for stealth.

No idea where that guy came from, since I had already checked the direction he would have come from, and the one guard I remember seeing from that direction could not have traveled there that fast.

It's the exact same mission except for a different cinema or two.

Also a tip for Akura: silenced Riot SMG is your friend. Perfect single shot accuracy and fast fire rate allows you to knock out multiple targets via headshots faster than the tranq gun.

Do note that they dont' stay down as long.

However, if you kick a KO'ed soldier (whether tranqued or just beaten up) and then aim a gun a them (even the water pistol) while they're getting up, it still counts as a holdup, including making the enemy stay down until combat starts.

They're down long enough for you to hold up or Fulton them.

That's odd. I've never had any crashes or anything like that playing any of the SR games on PC.

If it's crashing in clothing shops, it might be an issue with the clothing models/textures.

I play Saints Row 3 on PC, and I can confirm that it is very stable. However, I have heard in this very thread that SR2 is pretty much the polar opposite.

After I calmed down a little, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Steam had a download error.

Something to do with the permissions for one of the files.

So now I can't even play the damn thing on steam... maybe Gog will prove better but I'm not holding my breath.

Little Nightmares. The crane was moving away, and if you miss, you will die from the fall. The last checkpoint was about 5 screens of walking and climbing away.

I downloaded the game off of GoG.

The game runs just fine... Except for one thing.

Aside from the occasional framerate drop, sometimes the "go left" key wouldn't work. Sometimes all of the movement keys would just stop, forcing me to release and press them again, which would often throw off my focus.

The fact that I suck at driving in general meant that I'd often wind up failing Escort and Trail Blazing activities.

I have, at least, been able to progress through the story.
