Lost control of my motorcycle on the Magarac Bridge(technically, an overpass), launched off my bike and my face got buried into one of the bridge columns. The game reset my position onto the bridge, but my motorcycle landed on a freight track below. I jumped off to get my bike, assuming I could open my parachute. While I did switch to the fall pose for opening the parachute, it wouldn't open.

Took my troops to sack some nearby tribes, but I was too slow. The huns caught up to us. Tried to hide a thick forest for protection but it was not enough as the cavalry charges were relentless. The superstitions about the huns didn't help either and the defenders panicked and ran when the second wave of attackers charged. No one managed to escape.

I was about to be elected leader of the world, was ally of every city state and steamrolled everyone militarily via being a full age above the second-most teched.

And then the goddamn Shoshone became the Ally of one city state the turn before it was time to elect a world leader.

This was the last vote we'd have before reaching the turn limit.

This is why you disable the turn limit, if you can. To avoid crap like that happening. Arbitrary time limits are the worst things in 4X games.

I *did* win by points, but that was annoying. I don't really think it counts since it's minimum effort.

And it was my first game of Civ5 (and Civilization in general, if you don't count Revolution), I didn't know there *was* a turn limit until I was in the Atomic Era

I think there are more bears in the Rift than there are Nords in all of Skyrim. They're not much of a problem singly, but it gets to be a pain when a bear spawns in every ten steps. I succumbed to bears on my way to ambush a caravan.

Skyrim. Also a CTD happened when I finally got there.

Helping a friend with a Black Sacrament in ESO.  Clearing the path ahead with strategic placement of magical teleporting daggers to spinal columns and skulls.  I've been a member of the dark brotherhood for much longer than him so I am more experienced with what kills I can get away with without being seen.   I'm also a Khajiit, master of medium armor, nightblade, and master thieves guildie.  You pretty much couldn't be stealtier without a invisibility potion.

In the middle of clearing a large room suddenly my backstab wasn't working.   It seems I lagged out....in the middle of the room.  A few seconds later I was booted to the login screen.  I log back in to find myself as a corpse on a throwrug, and my friend reporting that I lost him some quest credit by being spotted by 4 different people while the master assassin and Dark Brotherhood Silencer momentarily turned into a drooling idiot.
