Goddamn wiley castle platforms.  You know the ones, the little blocks that appear and disappear with the distinct sound.  Nobody liked those things, and I'm at a section where I have to wall climb on some.

I fall into the pit, repeatedly.  Fortunately unlike true MM games falling into a pit only takes some health off and teleports you back.  But I've lost almost all of my health to this.   Last point of life, I finally make it to the top and... another set.  Like a boss I manage to nail this one in the first try but at the top I can't figure out where to go and fall to my death after the top platform vanishes.  (I find out later that there was a magnetic ceiling over my head I should have saw and jumped to.)

You can fake being able to run on water. You can't fake looking cool when you break your foot on a door and hit your head on the floor.

Fighting in the Battle Maison, against a random construction worker. He sent out Rhydon who stomped my Garchomp hard(Sand Tomb missed three times in a row, wtf), so I sent in Mawile. Meant to press Mega-Evolve(and subsequent Iron Head), hit False Swipe instead. Naturally, it did piss damage weak Normal-type attack on Rock-type defender, Mawile's attack is garbage without Mega-Evolution, False Swipe literally cannot kill and she fell to a single Earthquake. My third, Rapidash, of course was screwed.

Sand tomb is a weird move to have.  Rapidash is pretty dank though.

I'd like to say I was eaten by a titan, but the attack on titan game is really easy and I haven't even gotten close to dying.  I assume it gets harder as you go but I dunno if I'll actually hang around that long, considering I've still got witcher 3 to play.

Depending on the game you could get fallen on by a titan. 2.

I romanced someone, then changed my mind for in-character reasons. Unfortunately, I changed my mind after I completed a quest or three, soooo...

It's funny that Mass Effect, which least resembles any sort of role-playing game, is the one where I find myself acting in-character and roleplaying the most.

Sand tomb is a weird move to have.

I'm not sure why I'm keeping it, but it's doing more damage than I expected, both from the initial attack and the end-of-turn damage. Pairs well with Sandstorm, since Garchomp has both Sand Veil and a Lax Incense(I never found the Garchompite).

I never found the Garchompite.
You'll need to reach Platinum Rank in the secret base minigame if you want that.

Or just play XY, since it's sitting off on the side of the road on that one :P

Perhaps I'm just out of practice.
Cirno's Perfect Freeze got me twice, then one of the white balls after the first encounter with Meiling, and then somewhere in Rainbow Wind Chime is where I bit it for the last time.
I've gotten further, but I think it's decent for a first run in a long while.

Hunting a Deviljho with my sister. We've completed the subquest and gotten him low on health. The local connection drops (why?!) and we're disconnected. Well. No problem, this happens, we can both finish the quest solo. I feed him some nasty meat and chop his tail off, and he limps off to sleep. I carve the tail, follow him, sleep-bomb his ugly mug a couple times. He gets mad and leaves the area, so I follow, attacking aggressively because I know he's going down any second. Manage to mount him by attacking off the ledges, this is it!

Then a lot of things happen very quickly.

The lights on my 3DS start flashing red, meaning the battery is extremely low. I call this out this at my sister, who scrambles to grab the power cord. I'm trying not to get thrown from the mounting minigame while she fumbles to try to plug in the cable to my 3DS, while simultaneously trying not to get eaten in her game. Cable is apparently not long enough, she shouts "just switch places with me!!" which doesn't communicate this fact very well. I finish the mounting minigame, Jho goes flying, the screen goes blank.

That read like one of those spy movies.

Ethan hunt is hanging off the side of a semi trailer, hacking into the super secure spy contents inside to upload his agency's tracking virus onto it.  The truck goes into a long underpass and his spy tablet's satellite connection is cut.  He doesn't have time to wait for the truck to come out of the tunnel, the spy contents will detect the breach if the connection is cut for more than 10 seconds.  Thinking quickly he breaks into the truck's gps dome to plug his tablet up to the more powerful antenna but the cord is just inches too short!  3.... 2..... 1..... What will Ethan Hunt do?

I finished building my first two ships earlier today. One is a small fighter designed to be able to fight both on planets or in space, and the second is a large but simple transport ship complete with an oxygen system and a hangar that you enter through the rear, which I mainly made to warp the smaller fighter from place to place. I would get in the big ship, fly to some asteroids or a planet or whatever, then fly the fighter closer to it and do whatever I wanted to do. I was flying from the surface of a planet back up to the ship, and I was starting to get really impatient since flying out of a planet's gravity takes forever in this game, and as a result, forgot to start slowing down a while before I got close to the side. Rapidly approaching the larger ship, I suddenly realized that the brakes on my ship were total garbage, then tore straight through the right side of the ship and came to a stop inside the atmospherics room.

Space Engineers.

Made a successful landing inside the hangar, then spotted a pretty asteroid outside the window. Walked over to the bridge, took control over the ship and accelerated. Heard a bump, thought nothing of it. Parked near the asteroid, walked back to the hangar and was greeted by a huge ugly hole in the hangar door with my fighter nowhere to be found. I'm assuming I forgot to lock the landing brakes to the floor, causing it to slam into the hangar doors with enough force to go through as the big ship accelerated. Also the reactors were off, so the antenna wasn't transmitting and now I have no idea where the hell it is.

Space Engineers. Again.

Encountered a cyclops on a ledge overlooking a canyon. Everything was going well one minute, got the thing on the ground, stunned. Suddenly it thrashes out to the side im standing on with its arm, sending me flying off the cliff to my doom. In hindsight, I'm the only idiot for standing between it and a 200 foot drop.

As I was running around spraying horrible poisons in the air and chucking people into puddl!es of glue, a furry little incarnation of Satan popped out of thin air and shot me full of poisonous blowgun darts. His work was in vain, however, as my allies killed him and won shortly after.
