I finished building my first two ships earlier today. One is a small fighter designed to be able to fight both on planets or in space, and the second is a large but simple transport ship complete with an oxygen system and a hangar that you enter through the rear, which I mainly made to warp the smaller fighter from place to place. I would get in the big ship, fly to some asteroids or a planet or whatever, then fly the fighter closer to it and do whatever I wanted to do. I was flying from the surface of a planet back up to the ship, and I was starting to get really impatient since flying out of a planet's gravity takes forever in this game, and as a result, forgot to start slowing down a while before I got close to the side. Rapidly approaching the larger ship, I suddenly realized that the brakes on my ship were total garbage, then tore straight through the right side of the ship and came to a stop inside the atmospherics room.
Space Engineers.
Made a successful landing inside the hangar, then spotted a pretty asteroid outside the window. Walked over to the bridge, took control over the ship and accelerated. Heard a bump, thought nothing of it. Parked near the asteroid, walked back to the hangar and was greeted by a huge ugly hole in the hangar door with my fighter nowhere to be found. I'm assuming I forgot to lock the landing brakes to the floor, causing it to slam into the hangar doors with enough force to go through as the big ship accelerated. Also the reactors were off, so the antenna wasn't transmitting and now I have no idea where the hell it is.
Space Engineers. Again.
