In a Flash game-related note, my last death was from a giant drill. While I was dodging numerous smart bombs, two wall-mounted lasers, a jet fighter, and some weird, slow-moving, energy-beaming death machine.

Got given a mission in a dangerous part of space. I scouted it out in my shuttle, no-one else there. I thought I might be safe, so brought my battlecruiser in to do the mission. 5 Minutes later, a ridiculously nasty Electronic Warfare cruiser jumps in and pins me down; I can't move, I can't target him to shoot, I can't warp to safety. He appears to have used all of the space on his ship for his electronic warfare, so I'm not taking any damage. Still, he's pinned me for a reason, and sure enough two more cruisers eventually jump in, and quickly burn through my shields and armour. I released my little robotic fighters to annoy them, but I can't tell how they did, due to being unable to target anything.
