Last I played the game, it was the alpha 13 version.

DO NOTE: YOU CAN BECOME INVINCIBLE.
Just keep training your forces--I had my Keeper (who it seems, is always male) protected by one Harpy armed with a bow and arrow. She scared away everything, including knights of the King, and fellow human ambushers.

ALSO: DO NOT BUILD PORTALS [They summon several types of typical fantasy 'demons', one of which is the doppleganger--it automatically, in a time, seeks out other creatures of yours and kills them, no matter what level, and then 'absorbs' their powers. While this looks great firsthand...it doesn't translate well in combat (despite them being pretty much stronger than the initial creature), as I've found out...dies in 1 hit. Because it somehow has the characteristics of the 'ghosts', meaning 'easy to "kill"'

Dark Souls was like "Hey, insufficient framerate, kicking you out of the game right the fuck now, hope you didn't make any major progress or anything" even though the game had been running absolutely fine with no hitches for the entire time I'd been playing.

Dark Souls. Also, I've been getting the "Steam wasn't able to sync your files" message all day, even though I'm connected to the Internet just fine and it had been syncing all day yesterday.

Flipped out from the back of a garbage truck, climbed a gas pump, rode a skateboard to a nearby car, weaved between piles of bird poo, down the car and jumped from traffic cone to traffic cone to get across the road.

Climb up the wall, open an electrical box and flip the switch on, swing to the nearby propane tanks, start climbing it.......

and it promptly falls over, pining me to the ground until I am no longer edible and can't become toast

I was a Healer Troll born under the starsign of the Candle, which boosts health regeneration. Around my neck, I had an Amulet of Rapid Healing, and another one in my bag. I was effectively invincible, since every wound that I received would be quickly nullified by insane amounts of regeneration. My many foes cried at my strength as I plowed through the CoC without narry a scratch.

Then I became haughty, and in a Dwarven Graveyard had every drop of my Strength and Toughness drained from me. Though they could not kill me by tooth and claw, they eventually turned me into a Shadow by reducing my Strength to zero. Thus ends the sad tale of Rosematyr, one of at least a hundred dead heroes that I have created thus far.

I'm really not good at this game.

It can, and did happen. Last time I play around with Wights or Shadows ever again.

Round 11 with Armored Dude. I've found the area's boss and I think I know it's weakness, but I absolutely refuse to move on from Undead Burgh until I defeat Armored Dude and take whatever treasure he has on him.

I think I've found a sustainable strategy to beat Armored Dude; dodge his combos and go for safe, little jabs from behind my shield. However, I got too greedy and tried to go for a firebomb once I'd kited him to my preferred arena. Since there is nothing in the world that can faze Armored Dude, he simply charged through it and combo'd me to death. I tried to leave a message about my strategy, but the best I could come up with to convey the spear idea was the highly Freudian "try thrust".

Dark Souls. If I loot just one more Hollow Warrior Waistcloth, I am going to scream.

This is an /almost/ death.

 My prison is going fine. I have 147 criminals of various sorts being guarded by a total of 77 guards, Im working on building new ares for protective custody and for high-risk (Which mostly means that they killed a few prisoners), when I see a flag. Allright, flags are nothing new. Half the time its the dog smelling a tree. As a manner of course,  order the search of the nearby cell blocks, where a wooden pick was found.

 Allright, I think, I may as well tell someone to take apart the loo to check under it. Imagine my surprise when I find out that four of the five cells on that side of the block had, combined, dug 44m out of the building, past the pair of perimeter fences, and where inches away from breaking out into free air. I think I may want to start investing in some perimeter walls.
