Survived being mobbed by pistol-wielding guards, a music box overseer and a grenade-happy overseer. Finally get to the target... and I slip off the railing I was sneaking on and fall to my death.

Alas, my poor level 1 thief, he tried to steal from forsworn and promptly got captured. Then, as he was escaping, he got a arrow in the knee, quite literally.

Playing as the team heavy on Harvest, KotH, when I fight a medic with that weird crossbow thing. He shoots me once with it, and I mow him down with my Natascha. Suddenly, friendly Sniper zooms in on me and says something on voice chat.

"Iron, you have a dart in your eye."

Several people walk in front of me, some other guy starts talking.

"Holy crap, he does... Stay that way."

Fighting was sure to result in victory, so I fought. I killed a couple enemies, died, and then respawned so I didn't have the dart in me anymore. I failed my team.

That "easy" dungeon I was using to train my Axe skill? Not that bloody easy as it turns out.

I thought I was just about done with the place when I accidentally clicked on a secret door, revealing a whole other section with all sorts of new, twisty architecture to throw off my sense of direction. That, and there's a giant scorpion in one room, which I can only beat by savescumming (it's level 12, I'm only level 3 still).

WHY DOES THE SCORPION SOUND LIKE IT'S LAUGHING?

Daggerfall.

EDIT:

I temporarily forgot that I was playing Daggerfall and accepted a quest to kill a Daedroth. And I hadn't saved beforehand. I can't even afford a weapon that would be able to hurt a Daedroth, much less get in range without being instantly murderized. If I don't do the quest, I'll lose reputation in the guild I just joined. Time to reload!

Daggerfall yet again.

Sent into a dungeon to hunt an atronach. Immediately attacked by skeleton. I barely survive with my Ebony Dagger. Then another one. Then another one. As I try to find a place for my godawful slow regeneration to work, maybe even sleep a few hours, a rat kills me.

Daggerfall. I do take back about what I said about zombies. I did kill the rat as I fell.

Sent into a dungeon to hunt a mummy. In a room, I kill two male Bards. One of them was holding a book, so I read it. Apparently while reading, their girlfriends, also Bards, sneak up behind me.

Got caught in a corridor between Yriggs the Mad Carpenter and a doppleganger who could deflect all my shots and constantly confuse me and render me helpless.

Death was inevitable.

We were escorting the drunken pilot to safety when the helicopter to collect him landed on the opposite side of the map from the small building in which we were holding out. We sent him on his way, but about 10 metres from the chopper, and about 100 from us, he stumbled and fell. As the person with highest armour, I volunteered to save him, knowing full well I would die. Grabbed the zipline, flying through the firing lines of half the cops on the map. Landed 15m from the pilot, armour fully depleted, just outside of shouting range. Directly in front of me stood a skull dozer. In a desperate attempt to save myself, I started dropping a turret, whilst frantically backpedaling, taking half damage. Deployed it just as I got within range of the pilot, and shouted him onto his feet. I collapsed to see him rise to his feet and climb into the chopper, blissfully unaware I'd just died for him.

It was basically me getting confused, snapping out of confusion, then instantly confused again, all while Yriggs was hacking at my backside like I was a tree. GG game, GG.
