Well, I could go on and on about that game, but theres a new Elder Scrolls game to call stupid :/


My death.  Well, I found my first  chrysalid.  Or rather 4 of them, presumably from one.  It ate a cop and then they ate my forward shieldman and his escorting rifleman.  They instantly turned into zombies and we blew them up with a rocket.  The former Xes turned into unharmed  chrysalids and then we shot them.

  But, get this:  When the mission was over both the rifleman and the shieldman were . . . alive?  Theres a mechanic where there is a chance to save some of the down soldiers with (insert magic of choice here), and it worked on two soldiers who were turned into bloated zombies, blown up with a rocket, and then had the surviving innards shot.

:/  Maybe I misread, we did have other casualties after that.

The Elder Scrolls 4: Skyrim

I would have preferred they just called it:

Shotgun hybrids in the maintenance tunnels again. I ran out of psi-hypos a while ago and have been fighting the bastards with my wrench.

On the plus side: I finally got a point in standard weapons, so I can actually use this pistol I've had since the start of the game.

Another dungeon run. I wasn't the one who died though. The tank lost aggro and the boss decided to bum-rush me, so I used repelling shot to gain a bit of distance.

I got my distance. By jumping backwards out of the room just as it locked, leaving the party down a person for the fight.

Final Fantasy XIV

Shot myself up with a speed booster hypo and the speed boost implant to run by a turret in a large tunnel of some variety. I run by like Sonic on crack, not even taking a scratch in the process. Near the end a shotgun hybrid jumps out and is promptly ventilated with anti-personnel pistol rounds.

I didn't have quite as much luck with the cyborg midwife that came out behind him.

That was fast. I just saw a preview for it's upcoming release only recently.



I guess I better put my own death.

I set the difficulty too high again and faced off against Master Giant. Well, the stage-throwing evil incarnation of Master Hand, who did that stage-throw, and the result is obvious.
If the Core of Master Hand is this awful and difficult, what is Crazy Core like? Also, looking forward to Master Fortress in SSB4WiiU, even if I can't possibly beat it.
