Died to Qulaag a bunch. After finally slaying Qulaag I descended deeper, rang the bell, then descended even deeper while looking for a way out, found a giant demon tree balrog called Ceaseless Discharge, then died to a discharge from Ceaseless Discharge.

So yeah, latest death was a giant tree balrog exploding on me.

Turns out that, no, being in a semi-accurate-to-canon Scimitar does not mean you auto-win in PvP against your brother, who is in a much more maneuverable ship than you and will literally run circles around you while laughing.

Went Saxton Hale until I died of infection about 2 mins later.

I figure out I'm able to go into villages controlled by a couple other cities because of peace treaties we have. Decide to give a visit to Rockholm to check out the shops and maybe do some commodity quests. I take a step in and I get flooded with text and I attempt to run, but it's too late. I'm already dead. The entrance to that village had a hostile cursed armour that one-shot me. Fortunately my commune members were able to resurrect me.
