Still... I remember getting the sword. I enjoyed grenades more. Also why dont you search for small medals. Get the sword that stops time.

I knew what would happen anyway, I just wanted to wreck Vernis. Eventually I'll nuke it.

Double-posting, bleh.


Not exactly dying per se, but X-Com: Apocalypse. Trying to capture a UFO and take a Skeletoid alive at the same time. It reaches FUBAR pretty quickly, every single time. Either my guys just stand there with 4-7 Anthropods shooting their faces off with Disruptors, they just stand there while their buddies behind them shoot their faces off with Disruptors(from behind), or instead of capturing the Skeletoids alive(there's two of them) along with the 6-8 Poppers that charged out the from door into a wall of Stun Grapple fire, the squad(equipped with Stunners while everyone else switched back to Disruptors) I set to guard them doesn't, while another squad shoots the Skeletoids' faces off from far away when they get up.

I rolled over and let the Troll kill me and my party. Not that I would have been able to stop him. Mabufu and a massive meele attack = ded.

Got blasted, point-blank, by a Trandoshan Slaver. Granted, I had taken out 4 of his buddies using a grenade, one clip of a blaster rifle and a switch-blade to the face. The last one got lucky though.

Not so much 'me' as it is 'one of the members of my very small royal family' but still. Everything is fine so far. I took Carthage's little island off of italy and had sent some one to take their little island off of spain, I had taken both gaul cities just above itally. Really early game but all is going well thus far. A group of rebels pops up above one of my cities, no problem just one group of Hastitii, the basic light infantry of my early armies. I send out the local govener and the two groups of town guards to take care of it. The map is perfect for my cavilry of my eneral's bodyguard, and they tend to crush infantry like ants, and I wanted my govener to get some battle traits. So I send him and his bodyguard to fight Hastitii alone. Apparently a full cavilry charge still gives Hastitii enough time to throw 1 volly of javilens. Due to bad luck my govenor was the only casualty of said volly. Managed to kill off the rebels but at the cost of a member of my small royal family, not good.
