He was there battered and weary. An ogre. Cautiously, I made my way to him to heal his wounds as a silent offer of friendship, and he finally noticed me. A turn passed; It was a moment of kinship, it was a moment of- he hit me with his club until I died.

Sadly, this love was not meant to be. Rest in peace, Hill Orc Healer.

Not quite. There are only a handful of places that you'll ever meet random people - Darkroot Garden, Anor Londo, and Oolacile Township (with Artorias of the Abyss DLC). Everywhere else is mostly deserted.

Damn. I guess that's the end of the Blighttown Fight Club. Maybe I'd have more luck on the Xbox, they gave the game away on Live last week.

Damn pits are the number 1 cause of death.

Hit by medusa?  Into the pit.
Bat got you down?  He does now.
Eyeball monster too fast for clumsy keyboard controls?  He calls you his bitch.

Also, x2 and x3 knives are pretty good in this game.   Sahme they get a bad rap.

Actually, it starts next month, and I play on Xbox. Hopefully Games with Gold will introduce more people for me to murder breathe new life into the game.

How did I last die? By choosing to play more Dark Souls.

On the bright side, I found the zweihander. And I think I'm getting the hang of general combat with two skeletons at once. The zweihander helped with that. Still died a bunch of times though.

Died of illness, after a short remission from a three-years illness. At 28 years old.
He was such a good character...

And now I get to play his 1 year old daughter. ONE. YEAR. OLD. The regency is going to be looooooong...
And my mother is stealing my money, the blasted traitor.

On the other hand, I'm going to start getting long reign bonuses before I even hit adulthood, so there's that.

And I still managed to conquer all of ireland in a measly four years, purely with retinues.

I'm not playing online yet, because windows live. I thought it was set to end June 1st, but apparently it's July 1st. Anyway, unless I feel like making an account for windows live that'll last just one month before Windows Live dies, I'll probably just mess around on temporary unsavable offline games in Dark Souls until From Software makes an alternative way to handle online. The furthest I got was the Catacombs, I think? The area by Firelink Shrine where there's a mound of bones and the skeletons keep coming back to life. Had to quit because there were errands to go out and do in real life.

Aggro'd the black knight in Undead Berg. He had his back to me, thought it'd be a good idea to try and backstab him. Cue him turning around and swinging at me.

Cue me running back to the bonfire screaming while the black knight chased me.
