I got myself a Divine Sever+5, so I decided to check out the Catacombs
So far so good, I think. Everything goes down in a quick combo. I just line up and swipe em down. The loots not very great but oh well.
OH GOD A PIT
OH GOD ITS SKELETON CTHULLLU! OH MY GOD! HOLY SHIIIT!
Oh, he's not hostile and he's a blacksmith. Neat.
I head into the next room. 3 fucking Skeletons that morph into wheels start circling me and ram into my shield in quick succession. I take a bit of damage. I kite them into the first room with the black smith and dispatch them fairly easily.
I think that's the last of them. I wander farther into the room and three more show up, two cut off my escape route so I ran farther in.

Into a Black Knight.


So now I have 3-4 fucking motor Skellies circling, taking turns trying to slam into me and a pissed of Black Knight. I get a couple of good hits in, when a motor Skellie rams into my back and the knight bats me across the room.

Yea I got this, I bet this guy didn't expect me to have a trick room demigod Rhyperior in my mostly high speed team just to counter teams like his. One poke left for both of us, we're both one shot from defeat, and we're both ridiculously slow, but Rhyp is slower, which makes him faster due to trick room inverting the speed.  I clearly have won, unless.....

Since the trick room wore off my rhyperior went back to his usual position of slower than bottom of the bottle ketchup, and my opponent was only as slow as lukewarm molasses, so the opponent went first and took me out..

Lost over 60 health to a gang of the easiest mooks in the game because it was way too dark to see any of them. I did not survive the next encounter with several Berserkers.

Quake 2. It's ironic that there's very little light in a game that was unashamedly built around colored lighting.

I made a jeep, and attached a pole of filing cabinets to it, held together with something narrow and long I can't identify. I then put a bit of dynamite at max power on the end of the pole. This ended about as well as you think it would. I did get it to work later once I extended the pole.

Was tanking Scholomance for some random dudes on my lowbie warr, things are going reasonably well, first boss is down (absolutely nothing had dropped for my warr at this point though) and I'm waiting for the healer to recover mana because OOM and lowbies. At which point our paladerp decides that he's sick of waiting and is going to solo the rest of the instance, pulls the next three packs, and dies. At which point I notice that I'm also dying, because our DPS and healer had run away while I was trying to tank the packs. At which point I told them all they could go gently caress themselves and left.

Hm, I was unaware people still played WoW after Kung Fu Panda was brought in and they ruined the talent system.

How, pray tell, did they ruin the talent system? All of the old no brainer talents have been baked into the classes or specs, and the new talents are all equally viable so you can actually have a bit of variation rather than everyone taking the same spec. Also the Pandaren have existed in the lore since considerably before WoW itself even existed

I remember Pandaren from Warcraft 3. For all I know it might be older than that.
As for talents, I'm sure WoW has been "ruined" quite a few times during its history.

*Shrug* It's the usual complaint. As far as I'm aware, seven and a half million people still subscribe to WoW - a far cry from their heyday of twelve million, but still a hell of a huge money generator.
