Argembarger, do your dwarves , by any chance, wear yellow armor?

Also, 2 more replies and an update shall be had.

Hm, a question of what color armor my soldiers wear, odd to specifically ask if it's yellow.

That can't be anything but fun, so yes, let's say they wear yellow armor.

Our symbol is a clenched fist grasping a hammer in silver. Optionally, the hammer can have an angry face   D:<   , but that's typical mostly of the warrior and noble classes.

You see, your dwarves remind me of the Angry Marines, so I asked.

No I'm not psychic. I just know that this is dwarf fortress. and the most stupidly awesome and inexplicable thing is probably going to be the first thing to happen.

oh ok I thought you were gonna be like "The Drow become 15 times more powerful when forced to see the color yellow" or something

But yeah, silver on yellow, that's fine with me haha.

The Spears of Assaulting have a yellow-on-black kind of thing going on.
Unless there's a problem with that.

I dunno, whatever. Maybe we're a more orangey yellow, or like gold colored, but it doesn't really matter much since the colors we identify by with are different. It's just roleplaying fluff. But for purposes of not getting our soldiers confused for some reason by all the yellow, we shall be more of a darkish, burnt yellow slash goldish type color thing

Still silver for all intents and purposes as far as game mechanics go

Oh...We are talking about the color of the armors.
For a second I was very confused.
The color of your armor can be anything you want, the thing that differentiates your dwarves from others is the color of your banners.

Uniforms?

The mourners tend to wear orange-tinged steel armor, along with stylized iron masks and helms, representing dramatic emotions-agony, ecstasy, comedy, and tragedy.

Well, that map is BIG. We can't wait more than 24 hours a turn, or we won't get finished until Dwarf Fortress gets bought out by EA and turned into an MMORPG.

I say, a turn a day! Or close enough, right?
