How to select a specific cage to place somewhere?

Like the title says, I have about 50 cages, full and not, and want to choose a specific cage out of all of them to place somewhere (ex. Dragon into the middle of a zoo) so, what button combo/steps do I need to take?

In the [b ]uild [j]cage menu you can e[x ]pand the list and show the cages one-by-one instead of grouped by material.
