I keep thinking of some sort of feral version of that freaky thing from the Killed By Death episode of Buffy.  Eeag that was like the only episode I remember scaring me.

does anyone know where the raws are located for the bogymen would be, i wish to mod them a little bit. In both directions.

Boogeyman appear to be in the EXE, same as Titans and Forgotten Beasts.  They are here to stay for now.  Don't go out at night alone.  Muwahahaha.

Simply because a search on file contents folder of the raws for the word "boog" came up with nothing, same as it did when F-Beasts came out, and they were in the Exe. :)

In-game they're referred to as bogeyman.

Regardless, they are coded directly into the game the way they are. The only way you can modify them is by decompressing your save and editing world.dat, which is tedious as best. That said, most of the tags that appear on night creatures/bogeymen specifically do seem to be parsed correctly if they're in the raws (unlike those used by .31 HFS), so at least we can mod in new ones.

Actually, I travel alone so I can boost my stats on the assholes, since they spawn every night.
I think I killed already like 5 parties of the sissies.

From what I understand Toady so doesn't want us to make a fort filled with boogymen...
and make a Boogy wonderland.

Bogeymen are randomized so no, they don't exist in the raws, same way that demons, titans, and night beasts don't exist in the raws. Second, Just get a companion or two if they really bug you. I've never encountered them, even when I run around with only one or two guys. Once you do a few quests and gain a following of a dozen or so you're pretty much set. You can pick up a companion right away without even doing a quest I believe (it's what I did) and forever be safe.

I run solo.
The only solution there is to wait until morning to kill the bandit encampment (their numbers keep the bogeys at bay?)

That or get such good stealth that the Bogeys don't see you. But that is hard, they have good observation.

Bogeymen stats are in world.dat. You can modify them as you like, just do not remove existing tokens or shit can happen.

I find it easy to kill them if you chop off their legs.

Also you CAN outrun them, I usually max out agility when I start a character, and you can do it. I usually start with peasants too, so it should be easy as a demigod.

Also remember that "demigod" is just a bit more points in stats. You're still mortal as a hoary marmot.
