Hey guys, you may or may not have discovered this already but if you've got plumbing in your fort and you've revealed the caverns you'll begin to get impertinent vegetation growing in your pipes. This can be highly annoying as trees blow water flow. I've realized that it you cover the floors of your water system with grates (I'm guessing bridges and hatches work just as well) the plants may still grow but will never actually be considered above the grate, keeping your pipes clear and preventing you from having to drain the entire system every year or so to clean it out.

This works better with roads.

It's a bit of an exploit, but if it's too late to reach the area without serious demolitions, placing a stockpile over those tiles keep trees from growing into full obstacles.

I think the conventional spoiler protection is so much of an overraction that it's difficult to tell what isn't 'minor'.
