Ninjas are:
agile
focused
strong of will
etc. etc.

Ninjas are good at:

Sneaking and ambushing
Throwing
Fighting
Dodging
Kicking, wrestling and striking

Ninjas travel light, prefer swords, knives, or maybe whips, fight without armor or shield, and like to surprise their enemies and strike from the darkness.   8)


My attempts at ninja-ing have not been very successful so far, I almost ambushed an ogre wife but she noticed me right as I got close to her.  Should have thrown my knife at her instead. ;)

i have noted that the best attack is a stab to the head.
remmber that a ninja must dance a round there foes,leting them move to attack onlyto be attacked

Agree, plus that's about the LAST thing *I* want to see from this kind of game - author spending valuable development time on useless graphics.

Face stabbing does seem to work particularly well, even with a two-handed sword.

Killing ogres probably isn't the best choice for a ninja.  Killing an entire civilization, maybe.

Two things. On two different adventurers. First one, on my first real quest, I got behind a nightcreature(whatever it was) as it was killing a few of my friends and first swing cleaved it's head off. Second adventure, enter a human camp, sneak around a tree, throw my copper dagger at a guy smashes the skull through the brain kills him, grab it again, throw it at the next guy, I guess it paralyzed him cause I then just walked up and caved his face in with 5 blows from my war hammer.

Same character also broke a troll's spine with a kick from behind before slitting it's throat.

Well, in my case, I sieged a dwarf fortress, whereas I found out that kicking and punching people is way more effective than slicing them to bits :D

I charged at a bunch of humans and kept dividing them into smaller pieces while being peppered by crossbowmen. Lots of bleeding, lots of scars, and a glorious victory!

I stole all* of a bandit camp's weapons. Without them seeing me.
Then waited around outside the camp until morning (so their numbers would keep away bogeymen).
Then Strangled them one by one, still hidden in shadows.

The last was the leader. He actually saw me. We had a duel. A short one. He lost - I grabbed his sword and impaled him on it.

EDIT: *except the leader. I left the leader his weapons.

Actually yeah, it is pretty bullshit. You should not be able to walk sight up to 5 guys, in full daylight, IN THE SNOW, without being seen. Strangling them and not having anyone notice? That's a little much.
