I'm pretty sure all noticeable changes went into adventure mode and combat.

it's been four months since death, so I think its safe to assume ghosts don't exist. It's possible the ghost texture might just be for corpses.

I really hope ghosts and zombies don't exist. Otherwise, Townbrush would be utterly fucked when all the unburied corpses suddenly rise form the grave and devour everyone.

Normally I would wait for therapist to work with the new version before upgrading, but I only have 4 Dwarves so this isn't really an issue. Going to check it out now.

I've checked and found that Dwarf Therapist, Runesmith and dfhack will need an update to catch up to this version. The new features sound interesting, but running a fort of 200+ adults without DT is like flying blind.

Therapist is already updated!  They work fast!

Well the restless dead haven't risen up to devour my Dwarves. Yet. Now that I think about it, these changes probably only come into play when you generate a new world. You'd think with all the modding I've done I'd have realized that. Good thing to, since there are over 250 dead Dwarves in Townbrush, now that I actually bothered to count them. Most of which have not received a proper burial.

Looks like this update does add some pretty big changes though. Guess I'll have to hold off on the LP I was thinking of starting soon on the Escapist.

Is anybody killing off dwarves on an evil biome? It may be tied to surroundings.

Toady also mentioned something about memorials; new building? new room based off of statue, tomb, etc?

Will begin own tests once my Kobold Camp is crushed by the iron boots of the Goblin Empire. Shouldn't be long now.

Hey, I just noticed that my mayor has made both a mandate and a demand. I don't recall demands actually working in the last version, thoguh maybe that was just me. Just another thing to ignore though.

EDIT: What the heck is a rock slab? The wiki doesn't have any info on it, and I've never seen it in my build menu before.

May I venture a guess that a rock slab is for non-coffin burials?  Say, for "burying" someone that no longer has remains.
