The bogeymen are terrible demons.
I didn't quite think of them as the type of things that had "wings", though.

Bogeymen are randomly generated, so wings are optional.  I've seen horns, tails, and other such minor additions as well.

Arent boogeymen the children of trolls/ogresses? And then, shouldnt they inherit the appearances of their parents?

They're a separately defined species of randomly generated creature.  Night creatures and bogeymen are both called "night creatures" in system files, and use somewhat similar algorithms for their forms, but there is no other relationship.

Man, I haven't run into any kind of awesome night stuff yet.  Of course, I've only made it through like hour nights.

I've got four companions - two bowmen, a maceman, and a wrestler.  We just killed another rogue, and were on the way back to report it.  Suddenly, attack!  The first thing I noticed was a bunch of gray m's.  And I'm like wha?  Then I notice the green g's.  Oh shit, I'm under attack by a band of bowgoblins!  It's like a goddamn Nam-flashback, I'm just picturing the air filled with steel bolts skewering my organs.

Yet my crew and I roll into hand-to-hand range, when the first combat reports begin.  But not between the goblins and me; between the goblins and the m's.  Rhesus Macaques.  Fighting for me.

Go, my little simian minions!  To victory!

Brilliant, I have been killing night creature spouses for a bit, and I was travelling to another town when we were ambushed by a group of elves, one was an elven master. A big battle ensued, it was epic! I haven't counted my losses yet, but we managed to kill all the elves.

My adventurer almost made it without taking a scratch but in the midst of the battle an arrow managed to strike him somewhere, it made him bleed quite badly and broke a tendon. Kept falling unconscious, I thought he was going to die but all the elves were killed in the end and as of now the party is resting in a villager's house.

Also, where can I find shops? My adventurer is a dwarf though, so I need smaller armour which might not be sold at human shops.

I slept in town 'till dawn.

Tried to get to a bridegroom. Got sleepy on the way. Slept. Killt.

It'd help if I had armour...

Armor is dirt cheap now. Go to any lair, or any quest destination, and you'll find heaps and heaps of armor from the "victims".

That's the thing.

I was going to a lair when I was mobbed.

Not enough time to get anywhere safe before I needed to sleep.

I managed to cleave my way through over a dozen goblin bandits, blocking bolts left and right and severing hands.  Then I find the 'master', who shanked me to death almost immediately using a silver sword.  Really should've brought more companions.

One thing I wish you could see is how tired you were, or if there was an option to rest until you weren't tired at all.

You punch the Kobold Blowgunner in the head with your right hand, bruising the muscle, jamming the skull through the brain and tearing apart the brain!
