I DO NOT GET THAT REFERENCE.

IF YOU COULD LINK ME TO SOME MATERIAL THAT WOULD ENABLE ME TO GET THAT REFERENCE I WOULD BE MUCH OBLIGED.

This forum is so uncultured :/

It's from Pokemon, first season.  It's a Magmar using Fire Blast.  The kanji is pronounced "dai" or "o-oh" depending on the usage (and probably called other stuff too..) and essentially means big, could imply better I think?  See difference between team Gurren and team Daigurren.

Then according to the Air Force, the entire planet and the surrounding outer space is in a constant Macross Missile Massacre!

Did you seriously just refer to pokemon as a cultural reference? Pokemon? I don't even know what to say to that.

Myth: Supersonic rockets cause infertility in men.

Jamie will be riding this massive supersonic rocket we built from scraps and duct tape, and afterwards we'll see how his little soldiers are swimming!

I'm... mostly joking about Pokemon being a culture thing.  I think.
