I hate cold.

I so hate cold. I can endure any heat and i love my showering water scalding. But even some numb fingers can drive me crazy.

It`s now often around 0°C here in germany and whenever i have to go outside i rage and want to kill babies. I don`t want to know what happens once the whole land freezes over.

On the bright side; Today the sun shone and it was quite pleasant.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I like dry, moving heat.  The problem is that it's usually wet, still heat that saps my energy and makes me want to punch a hole in the wall.

Bah. I like moist heat. Dry air wreaks havoc with my sinuses, as does cold, wet air.

Thankfully, I live in the Southeast US, where we get warm, humid air most of the year. Yes, it can be oppressive, but that's only because you people are actually trying to do things when it's 98F and 98% humidity. The trick is to slow down as much as humanly possible. Why else do you think we drawl so slow when we talk?

I am the complete opposite of this. I can endure any cold, but just having warm feet will drive me crazy. I still take my showers in hot water, though.

And today I thought 68F was a bit nippy. Guess that's what happens when you live in a desert.

Today was t-shirt warm in Ohio. Probably the last day like that until spring. I look forward to how muscle-y I'll be after the winter training session.

Ah western WA.  I hate the overcast and cold drizzles.  I'm really hoping for either enormous downpours with thunderstorms (unlikely) or massive blizzards (unlikely).  I like really cold, or really hot, or really pouring, but not cool and damp.

I'm in the wrong state.  I miss Utah.

Its been kind of warm lately here in San Diego, although it has cooled off. The winter temps have yet to arrive.

Speaking of climate stuff, it was unusually cool in June and some of July, compared to the heat we usually have. It was made up for by the heat in later July and in August.

The temperature at this time of year is about typical as we get the Santa Anna winds from the desert in the fall.

Oh yea, I hate the cold as well. Its warm weather for me!

You know it's winter when your hands manage to get so cold you can hardly move your fingers, just from standing outside for 20 minutes.

I love dry cold. Unfortunate, the weather in Belgium is very wet (as usual it's raining), so I like when it's really freezing and there is no moisture left in the air.

Our first snow of the year was a blizzard.  It sucked.

I hate the cold.  Mainly because it is almost always windy here too.

There comes a time when you must take off the soft, furry slippers of a boy and put on the shoes of a man.
Unless of course they don't fit properly and your feet blister up like bubble wrap.
Oh ho ho, but don't try to return the shoes, because they won't take them back once you've worn them.
Especially if that fat pig Tony is at the desk.
